Anyone a fan of Dir En Grey? o_o

I have to say my favorite album of theirs is Vulgar, hands down.

Now that their upcoming album is releasing, November 12th (if I remember correctly) they're going on tour in the States! For the years I have been a fan of Dir en Grey I never got to go to a concert and this November 12th the same day their album drops, they're gonna be in Boston. I'm excited and hope it'll be an awesome experience. The downside is that they're gonna be with another band called The Human Abstract, I hope they're as good ._.

Dir en Grey is an awesome band. I have almost all their songs on my pc. :D

I just got their complete discography again since I lost everything when I reformatted my computer. Their newest single Glass Skin is hard to judge since I've only heard a live version of it but his voice seems pretty low and is putting a little ease on the screaming.

Dir En Grey is great. They are the top j-rock group in America now.

Hell yeah.

Dir en grey really are amazing. I've been a fan for about 3-4 years now and I must say i've enjoyed all their music. I hate how people suddenly hate them for 'Americanizing' as they put it. It's about growing and adapting. People don't stay the same forever so a band growing older isn't any different.

Over all, i like their first ep MISSA & their 4th album Vulgar, me liking Vulgar is even more evident by my name x3

Hopefully they'll come back to England on a new tour to promote Uroboros during 2009, i'd like to see them, even if it is my 4th time ^^;

I'm a big fan of them, one of my fav bands. Withering to Death is a great album, the greatest songs are Increase Blue, Obscure and The Final, no doubt ^^

Apart from Ayumi Hamasaki, this was the first band I've ever really listened too. And I almost all have their songs.
I like how outstanding their works are, it's pleasant and they aren't forgettable in the least (like so many other Japanese bands)

I have all their songs and music videos except the two latest singles, dozing green and glass skin.

Kyo has one of those voices that you recognize immediately. Love how he can distort it completely. And I love their Engrish. Remember Clever Sleazoid? I thought the lyrics were Japanese, and it was English throughout :/ But I still liked the song, because it was all screaming xD

One of my absolute favorite songs is one that's pretty recent. Ryojoku no Ame for the WIN! Less than three!

Yeah, I saw Dir en Grey live on stage at one of the biggest German concerts ^^ He was shirtless btw xD It was a great experience!

EDIT: Unfortunately, it was only 5 pm, so most of the people there were still drunk -.- So they didn't get the applause they deserved.

oh... he's pretty good looking actually ^^ when he's NOT wearing all that stupid make-up, like in child prey and the final. and he's ALWAYS shirtless ^^ and he's almost ALWAYS hurting himself on stage >.< I'm really jealous at you for being tere, I've only seen videos of their live shows...

I don't know if it was faked or not, but Kyo almost had a physical breakdown on stage. I think it was faked as he seemed okay afterwards, but I was pretty scared something could actually happen to him.

heh, he's always shirtless when live ^^ he's pierced himself with spears, "half-gutted" himself, scratched his face and tongue so that he pukes blood and skin, just randomely puked, jumps around being just completely freaky ^^ it was probably faked, although he is mentally unstable... ^^

Yeah, that's what I've heard. Well, I'm not sensationalist enough to WANT him to see puking and hurting himself. ^^; It's not my thing...but whatever floats his boat, I love his music, that's what counts.

indeed, I think it's pretty fun watching him being psycho in the videos, but I don't like seing im hurt himself...

Kyo is so crazy. When he was on tour in America, he came out on the stage and wrote "Fuck You" on a bucket, and he put it on and started jumping around and acting wild. Then he accidentally fell, HARD.

haha, sounds like him ^^ he's awesome! him as a boyfriend... I would never be bored again! ^^
