Now, with the Magic Mouse, I'm pretty sure human error will be the cause for unauthorized commands. You CAN work around human error, but you can't cure it. Therefore, I'm skeptical of this mouse actually doing what it's said to do.
Therefore you should quench your curiosity and try it out.

The concept is dope!! The only reservation about it how it really works in real life situations. Will it accurately pick up your attempts to do combinations of Left/Right/Middle clicks with no errors? b/c 100 percent is what they are going to be compared to b/c even the cheapest mouses offer that b/c they have manual buttons.
That's for you to find out. You shouldn't just call this thing a fail before actually holding it in your hands and trying it out. Also, a cheap mouse offering "100%" of its features? Are you joking? That's like saying a black & white Nokia's UI is the same as the iPhone's.

I'm not really a fan of Apples mouses... We use them in Digital Art class and I just can't stand them, it probably me but when I use a Apple mouse I feel like I'm not in control.
I currently use a VX Nano because I hate the Apple Mighty Mouse that came with it, so I agree with you the old mouse does suck. The Magic Mouse is Apple's new attempt in making a mouse, and Engadget so far says it works pretty well, much better than the old mouse.
As I said above, You can decide for yourself if you still hate the new mouse
after you use it. In that case, I won't have anything more to say.

I also wonder how well it would pick up "rapid clicking" when someone might use it for an MMO? just wondering if it could handle that well enough, I think i will just have to wait and see.
Currently all the places like Engadget, TUAW and Gizmodo only have hands-on's, and they think it works well. There are no reviews yet so we should give it a month or two, then check them out as well as consumer reviews on Amazon. I'm sure someone will have tried the mouse for that purpose by then.
In the meantime, why not pop over to your local Apple store and try the mouse out yourself? :D
