A little late once again, but Crystal Palace actually won against Manchester United, albeit a second-string team!

As long as Crystal Palace manages to get into the finals of the League Cup, we might have a chance of entering the Europa competition, or so I think... if the winners have already obtained a Champions League spot.

aren't Champions League spot only for team who has won the FA cup or the 1st-4th place at EPL?

Just wanted to point out the extraodinary comeback of Marseille against Dortmund tuesday night during the champion's league that allowed them to qualify for the next stage.
After being down 0-2 they scored 3 past Dortmund, two of them were netted in the last 10 minutes. Last goal from Valbuena was GLORIOUS.

God, that. I've seen the highlights of the game, but facepalmed myself when I saw Marseille going 3-2.

Dortmund wasn't the team that took the championship last year. Or you could say it was for Marseille like on a funfair(Each hit a winner!).

Also, Platini did great work for the smaller teams as he promised. Apoel for example, I'd have never thought they'd actually go through! Now Porto(Which lost Falcao IIRC) has to go for Europe League, and Donezk is out.

Went to the pub to watch both games today. City - Spurs was disappointing, brilliant match but I'd predicted and hoped for 2-2. United Arsenal was close but deserved, I think. Tight but we had the best of it.
