Anyways, it looks like my beloved Blue Jays are finally back to earth. We're currently in the midst of a horrible 6-game losing streak where our young pitchers are getting exposed and our top hitters decided to take a vacation this early in the season. Hell, not even Roy Halladay can't stop the bleeding. That's how bad we're playing right now.

Well, at least the Rangers are winning for once and the Dodgers are owning everyone. I would give everything for the Blue Jays to be in any of those west divisions.

Dunno about you, I just like to throw, catch, and hit the baseball. I don't follow any of the leagues or watch baseball. (Except baseball anime...)

I'm probably in the same league as you g-money, the AOBL (Anime Only Baseball League) :lol:

Seriously, I would love to watch some baseball games, unfortunately, my local TV stations suck big time (considering that I reside nowhere near the US) and I doubt I've got enough time for it. Anyway, it's good to know that the Yankees aren't completely out of it yet; with over a hundred more games left to be played. :lol:

I love my Giants. But, we need hitters. Our pitching has been great. But, on our road trip... We lost 4 games by the score of 2-1. What's up with that...? It's not like we haven't had our opportunities... We just haven;t been getting the hit we need with runners in scoring position. Especially on 2nd with no outs or third with less than one out. It's terrible I tell you.

Makes a girl want to cry. T-T

I love Halladay. He's one of my favorite pitchers. xD

Lincecum and Oswalt are 1-2 on my list.

Oh, I know what you mean. That's one of the reasons why the Blue Jays are losing right now. Check out our scores and you will see we're only scoring 1 or 2 runs a game. That's just not gonna cut it in today's day and age.

Wasting great pitchers outing really sucks too. What's the point of having people like Lincecum or Cain if the Giants offense always falters? Also, I thought Giants fans would be used to that by now.

I watch Sportscenter religiously so I catch all the highlights. The only time I'll watch baseball on tv is during the playoffs because I find it more boring than golf.

I don't really have any favorite teams, but this year I'm still rooting for the Rays. They had such a magnificent season last year and I want to see that again.

What I love the most is hating the Yankees. I find it rediculous how much money they spend to basically get an all-star team every year. Last year was great because they didn't even make the playoffs (thank you Rays/Red Sox). Howabout that new Yankee Stadium? I've never seen so many homeruns go into right field. :roll:

Bah. You never get used to losing. xD I don't care if we don't score runs. I want the W! xD

Our teams have proven that the saying "pitching wins games" is nothing more than a load of bullcrap.

Our pitching is good enough to win us games, but our offense is crappy enough that it keeps us from winning games.

Something had to give, and our pitching went. When your pitchers go out with the mentality thaat they have to through a shut out to win, that's a lot of pressure. They'll pitch badly and give up more runs. Make mistakes. NO WIN SITUATION!

Well, I'm glad we did generate some offense last night. Ishikawa went 4-4 with his first homerun. here's hoping he returns to spring training form and generates a decent enough offense at first base. We know his glove is great. Gold Glove caliber. Let's see his offense.

Wow, 8-game losing streak. Talk about disheartening especially because they were playing so great a week ago. Rios and Wells are nothing more than overpaid "stars" and no other teams would have both of them in their 3-4 spot. Adam Lind can't hit anything and our pitching has completely fallen apart. Sadly, Aaron Hill and Halladay are our only bright spots right now. You can tell its bad when even the Orioles are kicking our asses. Sadly, things won't get any easier with the Red Sox coming to town this weekend.

At least your team won yesterday.

You complain about your 3-4 hitters. Ours is Sandoval and Molina. They're doing decently, but Sandoval is out with an injury right now so Winn is batting in the 3 hole. Molina has been good in the cleanup stop. However, the backside of the lineup is doing terrible... Haha. And now we're playing Rowand who's supposed to be our RBI guy at lead off. Weirdness...

I really hope we can get a bat somewhere. I'm looking at Matt Holiday, but I doubt the A's will want to trade him across the bay. We don't need many runs, just enough.

Lincecum was dominant in our win today. 8 innings without a run. 4 run support early does wonders for a pitchers mentality.

Irony! My Giants beat the Braves that dominated your Jays! xD

Well, now you gotta Cubs fan here. Finally dropping an 8 game loosing streak, and hopefully a 101 year loosing streak. Bleh. I think our moto is "This is the year" Since we've been saying it for so long. Best not to care about that. Gotta great lineup this year, but getting off to a pretty slow start. I don't really care about the Jays since they're AL, but we come across the Giants from time to time, so I'll be sure to gloat when we win :þ

Awesome Nice to have another fan from a perennial losing team. You can probably relate to our losing feelings when it comes to baseball.



You will care when both of those teams finally meet each other in the 2027 World Series.

Anyways, today was the worst loss ever. I couldn't do anything but laugh after watching this team blow the lead twice in a pretty amazing fashion. 0-9 road trip for the first time in team history. Man, and here I was thinking things couldn't get any worse for my Jays.

*sigh*

I seriously need a fallback team.

You know what I find hilarious about baseball? Watching players and mostly managers yelling at the umpires about making a bad call. Instead of arguing, howabout you shut the f***, sit the f*** down, and play the f***ing game. The umpire isn't going to suddenly be like, "Mmm. Yea. Ok. Yes, I see what you are saying. Could you please not spit in my face while you're screaming? Good point...ok I'll reverse the call."

What's even worse is when a pitcher hits a batter with a ball. YOU NEVER SEE GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP WHEN THIS HAPPENS. You never see a pitcher show any remorse for what he did. Instead they will aggressively walk toward the batter that just got beaned with a "WHAT YOU GONNA DO NOW, PUNK?" attitude.

Baseball highlights are so entertaining. 8)

Meh. Sometimes when the batter gets hit, it's awkward. Especially when it's by accident, but both players know it's part of the game, nothing to say really...

When a pitcher gets hit by a liner, that's when everything gets awkward and silent... I remember like, a couple month ago, Joe Martinez of the Giants got hit in the head by the Brewer's Cameron's hit. That was ugly... x.x He's fine though, but yeah... You can't even react to those kinds of things fast enough... Ugly....

And then there's the whole copying of people's tendencies or something. Like when Brian Wilson gets a save, he crosses his arms and how Casey Blake hit a homer off Wilson and then he crossed his arms... Meh... You do something to draw attention to yourself, others are gonna do something about it. Don't whine, play the game. Lol.

OMG, the Blue Jays finally won. I can't believe it. I also can't believe that they beat Tim Wakefield and the Red Sox.

WS, here we come.
