Wakefield is the Blue Jays killer. For some reason, our hitters turn to crap when they face him. I blame him for the losing streak too.

Also, the Yankees are in first place due to the Sox losing.

If there is one thing about baseball I'm passionate about, it is the fact that I despise the Yankees. Seeing them in first place in their division makes me mad. >:[ Stupid Yankee payroll makes it so unfair.

I haven't heard much from Soriano lately. I know no one is sucking as much as David Ortiz at the moment, but Alfonso Soriano must also be in a slump. >.>

3-game winning streak! The Blue Jays are officially back in the race. Sure, our pitching is still inconsistent as hell but our hitters are getting hot again. God bless Adam Lind and Lyle Overbay. I should never doubt them ever again.

Vernon Wells and Alex Rios still suck though. The sooner they bench their asses, the better.

As for my Giants... looks like Rowand leading off is doing wonders for us. The pitching has been solid. I think we need to dump Sanchez as soon as possible. And the Uribe at third and Sandoval at first is working better than Sandoval at third and Ishikawa at first. More offense! Yes! We're winning! Back above 500!

I heard the Indians are looking to trade DeRosa for Jonathan Sanchez.

I fucking hate interleague. Why can't we never win against NL opponents? WHY?! Also, pitchers batting is complete bullcrap. AAARGH! Nothing pisses me off more than seeing our pitcher destroy an awesome inning.

Pitchers batting creates more strategy. When do I pinch hit? We have 2 men on base with two out and the pitcher coming up, but my pitcher has been hot, but we only have a 1 run lead. What to do? Lol.

Double switches everywhere. It's fun just to see the strats involved. With the DH... It's... whatever....

The Jays just swept the Word Series champions! Awesome.



Well, I grew up with the DH so seeing pitchers hit has always been something different for me. Also, I'm not used to seeing our pitchers blow it at the plate so I'm more prone to anger bursts than NL fans.

Does anyone else notice how awfully inaccurate pitchers are when throwing ANYTHING other than a pitch? These guys are supposed to be the most accurate, but when a ball is hit right back to them (doesn't matter if it was hit hard or soft or a bunt), they freakin' throw it into the stands or to the outfield and completely miss their target? I realize this is mostly because they aren't out practicing throwing to their 2B or 1B, but still....these guys are professionals and can't even hit a 2 meter wide target from about 60 feet away. Sad... :(

I grew up under my dad as a giants fan, but i've strayed away from baseball over the years, but i'm still trying to get back into it. I was super pissed of though when the Angels beat them in 2002. That was heartbreaking for me.

As a child i have fond memories of my parents taking me towards I-5 outside of Salem, Oregon, past the Shell gas station/truck stop to go see our Single-A team, the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (affiliated with the Giants). Man was that fun. :D

I also remember seeing Joe Nathan as a starting pitcher for the year that he was there, and now he's an amazing closer for the Twins.

Now, seeing as how i live in Las Vegas, all i got is our shitty 51's, who have a standing tradition of being in last place in their division. Oh well, at least we have a team though. :/

Oh man, my team completely fell apart so I stopped caring about baseball this year. It's just not fun watching the Jays anymore. They can't pitch and they can't hit. Not a fun combination people.

Now JP Ricciardi wants to trade Halladay because he has no idea what his doing. If Halladay leaves, I'm through with the Jays until they get some management that know what the hell they're doing.

So, I watched baseball for the first time yesterday since early July and I'm sad to report that don't even recognize my own team anymore. Oh yeah, I still hate the Red Sox and Yankees.



Hell, I didn't even know they have fallen that low. And yes, I'm a fickle fan. You would be too if your home team was the freaking Toronto Blue Jays.

2010 needs to hurry up. Maybe JP Retardi will be gone by then.
