That's college for you. I'm always feeling burnt out as well.
I suggest trying to get as much sleep as possible and exercise here and there. It helps me out quite a bit.
Also, I suggest not taking time off. You might get used to taking time off of school and you might give up school altogether or once you return, you'll have a harder time knowing that you could be taking time off.

The editing which is what LD is referring to is exactly what I'd love to be able to sit down and do. I know LD might see it as a chore for me, but it's one of those things I enjoy sitting down, listening to music and doing. I was planning on focusing on that for a bit until I get out of my rut.

I have sex on a regular basis, it's a good stress reliever, but it's not something that motivates me to do more. ;p

I'm being pretty optimistic about the taking a semester off, simply because I'm the type of nerd that I can't wait for classes to be over, but once they actually are I go through 'oh god, I'm bored, now what do I do - whens class start again?' I actually look forward to put myself through misery again.
I haven't taken normal classes like you guys have in mind, I've been taking advanced classes where they're 8 weeks instead of 16 weeks and then in between new classes I get 2-6 days off. I had midterms during Thanksgiving week. I've literally been doing this since July with no real break.
Our Christmas break would be 13 days. I just feel like if I take 8 weeks off, I'll be ready to step into that again.

It seems to me that ZO has a bit too much on her plate. It would always be preferable not to have to work and go to take classes at the same time, then again that's asking for more out of life than you can expect to get.
