Can anyone guess what show this Toonami intro is from? Before I quote it, I just want to get something out of the way. I know I am a freak for knowing this by heart; I know that. I've made my peace with being a freak of this show. If it came down to sex or this show, I would pick this show. I've reached the acceptance stage. Aaaaaanyway, here it is.
It cultivates the spirit, the mind and the soul, and me must always cultivate the soul/The control panels' really messed up!/PREPARE TO DIE!/GET OUTTA MY WAY!/AHHH! AHH!/HEY ARE YOU CRAZY!/You can do this task/You weaklings are no match for N**i/See ya!/[a screaming sound]/[sounds of main charactor grunting as he fights a mass off enemies with a wooden pole.
....So, which show was that Toonami intro off of? Anyone? This show hasn't been on Toonami [as far as I know] for years, yet I still know the intro by heart [and much of the show dialogue, for that matter].
I wasn't aware that it had ended, but it hasn't really been good for years. But when I was younger, I watched it every day.
Yeah... But really, Toonami was the only good thing about CN. Now the only entertainment on that channel is Adult Swim.
Early Adult Swim was good too. But Adult Swim is still pretty good.
And I guess it's just kindof weird to see the end of something like that that was part of my childhood like that.

Yeah here's the video
That's . . . weird. A Cowboy Bebop reference when Toonami never showed Cowboy Bebop. I guess they figured they could do it since a lot of Adult Swim fans probably also watched Toonami years before.
Watching some of the Toonami videos on YouTube made me wish Adult Swim would die and the Midnight Run would come back. Uncut episodes of Dragon Ball, Gundam Wing, G Gundam, Rurouni Kenshin, Tenchi Muyo, and Sailor Moon would be a lot better than the episodes of Family Guy they've been showing for the past couple of years.

Don't forget Outlaw Star. It was my favorite anime for a long time. Still high on my list.

Damn, I wanted to answer it! I just got the first season as a gift this friday!
And the reference to Bebop is because the voice of TOM is the voice of Spike.
Oh yeah, Steve Blum. I forgot about that.
I met him at an anime convention once. Real nice guy.
You know, I feel like this is something I should have noticed, and now that I think about it, it's really obvious.

Yeah! I loved that show, and I haven't seen it in years. I forgot it because there are so many shows they could air but probably won't. Another two I forgot - Trigun and Big O.

The guy who does Tom's voice is Steve Blum who is most well known as the voice of Spyke from Cowboy Bebop.Steve says that's his favorite line and he uses it every now and then.I asked him once at a convention when does he use that line the most he says "When I make cereal every morning for breakfast and I go to pour the milk".
