The name of that show was as I remember Tenchi, but I think it's full name is Tenchi Muyo."
Actually there were three sereis' of Tenchi. The first is named Tenchi Muyo [which ran for thirteen episodes, then an aditional seven were made years later with different animation styles, bringing it to 20] the second was called Tenchi Universe, and the third was called Tenchi In Tokyo. All three of those shows aired on Toonami at one time or the other, and each one has different plot/encounters. The way everyone met each other is extremely different, and the plot and badguys is completely rearranged in each of them as well :? I don't really see why they do that, but what the hell. Anyway, they have several spinoffs of the show [Pretty Sammy and Magical Girl Pretty Sammy, which are two different shows, the first spanning only three episodes] and a new series, [one I haven't seen, for once] called Tenchi GXP or something like that. Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki isn't a new show; its' the seven final episodes of Tenchi Muyo! Tenchi Universe [or Tenchi TV] spans 26 episodes, and is in my opinion the best. Tenchi in Tokyo also spans 26 eps, and differs from the other two the most. There are three movies that I am aware of. The first is Tenchi Muyo in Love, which follows the story line of Tenchi Universe. The third also follows the story line of Tenchi Universe, and its' called Tenchi Forever. The second one, Daughter of Darkness, follows the first series, Tenchi Muyo!, but there is some confusion about that, due to a continuity error [Kiyone doesn't exist in Muyo!, but she is in the second movie. Nevertheless, the second movie does follow the Muyo! series]. Well, sorry for rambling. If you liked the show, I'm currently uploading them on Veoh. I'll give you the link later if you want.
