We are?... I don't think that the white people or Americans are so hard on themselves nor feel guilty about anything. But I do agree that our country isn't doing as well as it was before also hasn't our country always been in the crap shoot lol.

I have nothing to feel guilty about. So my ancestors were more than likely murdering war mongers; isn't everyone's? If you look throughout history, someone's always trying to fuck over someone else. The past is drenched in shame. All we can do is accept it and try to overcome the hatred so that maybe in the future things won't be so fucked up.

Of course that's bullshit though because people's pride and inherent desire for power and dominance will always lead them to war and misery. And shall it be until the day all intelligent life is eradicated, most likely of it's own volition.

As bad is it is now though, USA is still the mightest country by far. No one even comes close, not even a little. You also here things like we don't manufacture any thing anymore and bs like that but it isn't true. America still manufactures more than anyone, even China. EVEN CHINA, with its billion+ population. Look it up, I dare you. America isn't perfect (duh) but it isn't in the doldrums. It just stumbled recently, but is still the mightest by far.

Also white guilt is real. Ever hear of affirmative action? Reperations? Grants just for being a minority (i.e. not white) my bf Razama got a scholarship for being mexican - he can't even speak spanish! And he is from California, they are the majority there!

The offensiveness of racial slurs doesn't become apperant until they are used by a different ethnicity. The only way to stop that problem is for both sides to not use such vularities.
