You know what's funny? At the last preparatory meeting for this autumn's Internet Governance Forum (IGF), China responded to censorship allegations from western countries by pointing to the increasingly widespread filtering and tapping in the west. And what do you know, an agreement was reached to the tune of the UN "not condemning" internet filtering any longer.
