Do you drink around your family?

My mom would flip since I'm only 18, so no.
I rarely drink as it is, Halloween was the first night I partied and drank. Usually it was just sitting around the house with some friends drinking.

hmmm i have only drunk like 3 times without a family member there last night i was drinking a bit and that was at a shit party my uncle had set up but it was pretty fun in the end because my other uncle (who i might add is probably the best advert for not drinking) turned up steeming after having come from a rugby match and started jumping around everywear fucking hell it was funny i shall have to load up those vids of him aaaa i had tears in my eyes i was laughing that much. but in answear to the original question yes yes i do drink around family and my dad hates it my mum is always too pissed to care and the rest are usually drinking with me.

Yep, it's just too weird for me. I was raised mildly strictly about things like that, so it just feels weird to drink with my parents. Ruins their image of me as an angel... I'm sure this site would do the same! :3

I drink alot! Its fun for me and my boyfriend. I can hold my alcohol pretty well too, I havent thrown up from alcohol once

I come from an Irish family, and I'm not sure if that is the reason or if they just don't care, but I've been drinking for a while, openly. Except in front of my gran; she sortof frowns upon it. But I became an alchoholic at 15, so now I'm a bit better at moderation, which is good, considering the free access to alchohol that I have.

but i had a chance a few years ago when i was like 15/16 on new years to drink some smirnoff with my mother, aunt, sis and her friends but decided against it...idk y lol it was weird to cuz i was the only 1 ho was not drinking...

That's how I was, I've been offered alcohol before i turned 21 but I never would take the offer. The first time I ever drank was December 29 2007(the day I turned 21) I had a bud light that my parents bought for me. But anymore I drink mostly Guinness Extra Stout or Amstel light.

There's a difference between an alchoholic and a drunk. I think it's more a personal choice than a morality issue. I don't believe myself to be immoral, and I started drinking at 12.

I'm don't drink alcohol because I can't handle them... I pass out very quick... just one glass and you will see me crawling down to the floor... :lol: :lol: :lol: [no bullshit...]

Light beer isn't so bad, depending on the brand. Canadian beer is generally moose piss. Bud Light is good for drinking games, because it's relatively cheap and not too terrible. Around here, though, people use Natty Light. Whch is just....horrible.

I only drink wine around the family. I barely drink at all as it is; the few times I've been drunk it's been with friends, not at home.
