Damn all this talk about women, warmth, and snow makes me wanna head up to the mountains, built me a hot cold enough snowwomen then fuck it while wearing shorts and a tshirt at night. :lol:

I love the snow, it gives you an excuse to cuddle with people 24/7. Plus, I made a snow fort with the kids next door and we threw snowballs at the kids across the parking lot. I also love looking out the window at the street lamp at night and seeing all the snow falling being lit up. Then the next day there is a soft blanket of snow on the ground. And if there isn't fresh snow, then that means there is a hill somewhere that has packed snow ready for you to sled on.

uggg your soft blanket of snow is my hour+ of shoveling...

And your 1+ hour of shoveling is my endless of fun of putting the snow back :D

reminds me of the idiots who try to "help" by running a snowblower across our sidewalk, but point the blower side at our driveway

I live in an apartment so I don't have to shovel. I just watch these giant plows move all the snow to the corners of the giant parking lot infront of the towers I live at. Then we have snowball wars. I am the captain and all the 4th graders are under my command.

2 years ago I lived in some cruddy apartments. We lived on the 2nd floor which had a massive courtyard that would pick up all the snow. Too bad there were only like, 3 kids living in our complex

It doesn't snow in winter where I live.
But...

Well this is my first winter with snow because it didn't snow in Louisiana. So for now I am a little kid again and have no reservations of shouting at passing kids getting off from school to join my snowball fights/snowman making/or fort building.

I love winter and snow, but subzero temperatures with high winds is a little too cold for my tastes. I'm fine with the subzero coldness but when you add in the windchill it makes it hard to deal with.

Regardless, I'd visit Yakutsk if I ever had the chance.

This man speaks the truth as I am a fellow Kentuckain. The last. Blizzard we had here was when I was in elementary(primary) school.

I hate the cold. But Yakutsk would probably be one of the places I'd visit.

Can't stand the heat in the least and welcome negative weather.

Freaking heat is the worst, there's no escaping it unless you're like 90% of the people out west, i.e., sitting inside in air conditioners.

Even in severely cold weather you just get numb in the parts that aren't covered like your nose, but that's about it.

Only thing that can make the cold really bad is the severe winds in negative weather to make it like negative 40 at times.

Guess when the snow is so high it's as tall as me (6'4") it can be annoying to even try and get out of the door let alone shoveling/using the snow blower.

I love winter, and never heard of this place.

Heh-heh... Oh no, nose doesn't get numb(at least mine) but fingers(leg fingers especially)... Eugh. Each week there are at least one man with frostbite injuries.
But it's not that bad of course. For compensation we have hot summer(up to +40 Celsius)

Also, there isn't a lot of snow outside.

Fog sometimes is SO thick so it looks like Silent Hill. :)

Truthfully I love cold weather. And colder than the sissy winters we have in Texas. It's 40 outside right now and people complain about that. Coldest I've ever experienced myself was -32F. With about a 15 degree wind chill. I ran outside in shorts and a t-shirt just to see how long I could make it. Not very as it turns out.
