dubbing is all well and good if it sounds authentic, whereas as long as you have a decent (and slightly perverted) reading skiill subs are much more authentic

... OK... but what's your opinion on REGULAR anime dubs? While I am mostly pro-dub, even I will admit all hentai dubs are bad, unless we're talking the one Dan Green did (in which case, it's so bad, it's hilarious instead of cringe-worthy).
Still not interested in watching it with dubs. D: Sorry, i just kills anime for me...

Hmmm... kinda of curious now, and not just for you, but for everyone who outright says dubs can't be good at all. Exactly how many dubs have you seen, and which one? Because it seems like this group of people haven't even seen Cowboy Bebop, an anime which is UNIVERSALLY heralded as having a dub far superior to the sub.

For what reasons would we have dubs? Obviously, it makes the series worse, just like Naruto. The dubs make sound good, but the subs is for people that didn't heard well something they said. But i have to agree, DBZ dubs are better.

Only good dub I've ever heard was Yu Yu Hakusho. Favorite line "We protect the world, so who's protecting us?" Thats some emotional voice acting right there.

Mostly subs, especially for hentai, dubs kill it otherwise.
The only good dubs that I know of are DBZ, Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, and Gundam Wing, so yeah basically all the Toonami ones.

If we're talking about serious alone time, then subs are definitely always better. Of course there are the mistranslations that don't sound exactly rightbut those don't hurt the mood too much.
Now for times where I'm looking for hilarity, dubs are always best. I mean, the only thing needed to know about how funny dubs are are that Dan Green voice acted in a hentai called Temptation.

Recently, I've been watching more dubs simply because of Netflix recently added collection and none of the new animes being subbed really catch my interest.

For hentai, subs. the women sound better in the original japanese.

Granted a good chunk of the dub sound terribad (that baby voice from a macho dude in yugioh GX shall forever haunt me)but there are great dub such as MGS, some Tales of games, etc.
Even with sub, they have their downside (overused word such as Onii-channn is really grating now) of making you have to look at the sub all the time (very annoying during intense part).

Of course, our idea of what is good is purely subjective. Half of those you listed I watched in dub for the first 5 mins, only to switched to sub immediately thereafter.
It's simply a matter of preference.
