Does any one like metal ??

There are some sweet metal rockers.

Iron Maiden and Randy Rhoads are my two favorites, but bands like Dragonforce, Megadeth, Judas Priest, and Motley Crue have some good stuff too.

Like metal? How can anyone like metal? There is only pure metal passion!!!
I enjoy all the classics AC/DC, Metallica, etc
But my current top 11 (it was too hard to pick 10) would have to be:

5)Rhapsody of Fire
6)Rage Against The Machine
7)WinterSun
8)Nocturnal Rites

And those aren't necessarily in order from most favorite to least, cuz I luv them all. There were so many more as well that I didn't get to put :( But those are all quality bands from around the world :)

Metal = Win

I can name a lot. But i'll just name my favorite band: "Opeth". The leader of that band "Mikael Ackerfeldt" also has a favorite band. Which is my second favorite band. Though they're aren't really metal. They're more progressive rock with metal influences, and really one of the best bands I've ever heard: "Porcupine Tree".

Metal always whack me around the head but still i listen to it sometimes.

Pure metal for me is Primal Fear

I love all genres of metal, everything from Rhapsody and Sonata Arctica to Necrophagist and Melechesh. My favorite is melodic death metal (Scandinavian). Children, Wintersun, Amon, At the Gates, Ensiferum...

My neighborhood is metal heavy. We're trying to battle the rap heavy side of the lake.

I like to listen to:
Dragonforce
Demons and Wizards
Iced Earth
Dream Theater

most of those bands are progressive, but metal all the same.

What happened to the classics? Randy Rhoads was a guitar god. Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Metallica - that's where it's at. I can't get into all this death metal stuff(Though I do find Metalocalypse on AS hilarious). I just can't listen to bands like Dimmu Borgir, they make my ears hurt.

So many bands, they all rule, but mostly, I think are Iron Maiden, Primal Fear, Chrome Division, Judas Priest, Symphony X, Manowar, Black Sabbath and some random black metal, like Cradle of Filth, occasionally

Oh, I'm sure I can find a metal band that you don't like, lol. It's such a diverse genre. I like a lot of death metal and some black metal, but some of it is just crap.
