I don't lie to myself or others about who I am. I just be me, I don't know how to be anyone else...

Do you wear make up? You're a liar and you don't even know it.

Not a lot of it, and not if I'm not going anywhere. Does wearing deodorant make you a liar for covering up your real smell?

Besides, it isn't lieing if I'm not aware of it. AND you know I'm wearing make-up so the truth is known.

I haven't done drugs and I don't feel or see the need to do it. I drink some alcohol once in a while, nothing big.

Smoking is out of the question for me since I was born with incredibly bad lungs, smoking would most likely costs me a few years out of my lifespan if I start now.

I'm completely clean. I have never tasted an alcoholic drink, never smoke a single cigarette and I have never done drugs. One of the biggest accomplishment I've done in my life. I always have a good laugh every time I see people getting into trouble for drugs or alcohol.

WHY IS THIS AN ACCOMPLISHMENT?

...I think he was making a point. When you wear make-up you're hiding a part of yourself from everyone else, it's a way to make yourself look prettier than you actually are. I don't think he was implying that wearing make-up is a literal, to-your-face lie; but rather that it's human nature to deceive.

And everyone has and does lie. And we do hide parts of ourselves from the people around us.

yeah it is human nature to decieve, but you don't have to act a different way infront of others. Also you shouldn't need a substance to make you lose your inhibtions just so you can act like "yourself" What is so hard about being your self? Wearing make-up is part of who I am, how is that a lie?

Drugs shouldn't reveal your true personality, if anything drugs either change you or are what makes up part of your personality and the person you choose to be.
Ex: I don't like the taste of alcohol, butI am willing to drink a little inorder not to be a party pooper. That is a little insight into my personality.

While it is admirable to see that you can resist substance use I would not say it is an accomplishment. Graduating college is an accomplishment, so is buying a house or selling a million records. What you have there is a lifestyle choice.
As a last point, I doubt you'll be laughing when a coked-up lol12 bursts through your window, smashes you in the head with a chair and steals your VCR.

I'd say compare to the several of other people who don't have enough willpower to stay away from drugs it would very well be considered an accomplishment. Choosing to do drugs, fine that's your prerogative, but there are plenty of other people who are just too weak to say no or quit. There is more reason to pat yourself on the back for saying no than choosing to do drugs.

Still disagree, if were gonna make examples of this then I'd say quiting heroin would definitely qualify as an accomplishment but still don't see unwavering sobriety as one.

I say it depends, often people start doing drugs out of social pressure coming from their acquaintances. If one still has the will to stay sober and decline the temptation, even though giving in would make you look like more of a part of the group, then I would say that that's an accomplishment.

I'd say it's all a matter of opinion and personal views and standards.

I only drink Alcohol if i'm near with my best friends and never at parties. My BIGGEST fear is waking up naked with unknowns guys taking pictures of me..... I have never smoked a day in my life because I KNOW that i well get addicted... If god gave me pink lungs then i will die pink lungs. Anything with needles just stay the hell away from me.

The accomplishment is staying firm with his principles. He wants to stay sober and by staying sober he makes a small achievement each day.

It's not a grand achievement such as graduating college or obtaining a platinum record but, it's an achievement (i.e. success) in it's own way.
