Epic internet connections, who has them?

Mmkay, I'm not sure if a thread such as this has already lived and died in this forum, but my searches turned up nothing so that means I get to make a new one rather than try to play at being a necromancer and bringing a long dead thead back to life. It has just come to my attention that at around the turn of the new year, I will be acquiring access to a 20 Mbps internet connection, which is fucking epic win. This got me curious about the kinds of epic internet tie-ins other FAKKU members currently have. (btw, I am currently making this post from my phone, which maxes out at a 3G connection speed of 1.5 Mbps, but usually only gets about half to a quarter of that speed. This means that I have spent about 10-20 minutes posting this, as opposed to about a minute back on my home line. Just thought I'd throw that tidbit out there for teh lulz.)

10 Mbps at home, allowing me to download anything I want within 2 hours. And it's almost free.
But now I'm at college and local net sucks. Seriously, downloading 50-100kb/s is brainfuck.

I download anywhere from 350 KBps to 1 MBps.
At school it's hardwired and it's 1 GBps!

Actually if I'm at home and NOT downloading at least 600kb/s, it has something to do with server restictions/problems or not enough seeders.

Mine used to be halfway epic.
Now it just sucks.
Mind you, it sometimes takes an hour to download a 60MB file. Reminds me of the good ol'Dial-up days...

recently switched my ISP, used to get TOPS 120KB/s, normally 40-70KB/s. Now I get about 400KB/s.(average download speeds, not connection speeds)

How many kilo bites are in a mega? I have 150kb so thats like 1 mega?Divide the mega with 8 and you'll get the count for kilo; Your internet most likely is 1,5 mbps with that 150 KB/s
Mine is not even reach 1 Mbps speed...sucks, but it still fast enough for general.

I currently have 15 Mb/s connection speed, I'm hoping to get 20Mb/s sometime in the future.
Also note, most companies will advertise in MegaBITS not megabytes and there is 8 bits/byte.

Mine used to be 400kb max but stupid connection dropped to 150kb max. I hate it.. Too slow..
