FUCK YES.

There was a malfunction for the power back when I was at High School, so we all got to just skip school that day. However, two months later they made us make up the day by turning a 4 day weekend into a 3 day. Bah!

long story short, I faked being sick for two days (TTuesday & Wednesday), and ended up having 2 snow days afterwards, but I was also off on Monday because it was Martin Luther King day, so I was out of school for an entire week.

I loved rain days schedules and fire drills back in elementary school.

me too, not so much in college anymore since they force us to have make-up classes which eat up our break T_T. Damn typhoon

Only lucky breaks i got from not going to class had to be when my Teacher over slept.
Than the class would get a sub, and they would most likely let us do what we wanted, so i would skip and go the the computer lab!

Yeah Eistine would. the rest of my class (consisting heavily of bros or AMEREEKANS) don't really understand my points. So I mainly just listen to them and question their logic.

Wow, in our school, It would take flooding or a riot for the school to have no classes. (class can be canceled by the prof or the school)

One time when somebody plays around in the science lab and caused an explosion. It's not that big of an explosion, but since I guess the dude's a fool in the first place for allowing the chemicals to explode, he somehow makes the situation worse by not extinguishing things right. So 'cause of the dude's idiocy the fire grows biiigger and not smaller, and so the fire alarm rings, students evacuated because the teachers are afraid the fire will spread.

Then to make the story short, we are allowed to go home. Done.

We had a fire in the chem rooms at my high school and the soot ruined every paper in the room.

wow, now that seems to be one of the best situations ever!

It was. I had like 16 grade/failed labs my teacher hadn't put into the grade book so it saved my grade!

I remember in Middle School, the High School across us had some sort of lock down because someone brought a weapon to school and no one could leave class for two hours. I was in my favorite class too. It was awesome.

Fire, you have to appreciate the simple acts of God...

Pretty much like my English Composition I professor, except after the first class this semester, he developed some pretty bad complication and had to go in for hospitalization. He's so dedicated to his job that he comes back to teach one class as limited by his doctors. So far, my class has been a total breeze with 4 different substitutes and two canceled classes. The 4th subsitute is in fact the head of the English department... but even then we don't do anything particularly serious in his class as he's still scrambling for a more permanent professor other than him, which he says he's getting swamped.
