In relation to TheOtaku's "To the old Fakku!" thread, as well as in light of the recent "events" on Fakku, I am compelled to start a long post on how we can improve the community, bringing back what some would call the good old days, or simply creating a better environment for all.
Compared to some of the members on Fakku, I may not have been around for a very long time and my words may not hold much weight, but I do sincerely hope that all of us can work towards the development of a better Fakku, at least in the aspect of forum culture.
Well then, let me start off by quoting some of the members and their opinions on the current situation:

Ahhh...The good old days. I've seen things slide slowly downhill for a while around here...(That would be why I post only once in a blue moon.) The atmosphere here is not so friendly anymore, and that's a shame...I hope someone around here can fix that. But I doubt that will happen. As it is, I'll leave now.

Honestly, it's much more hostile than the old years. There's so much flaming and all kind of negative things happening these days.

Also....what the fuck did I do to lose 5 rep? I wasn't even here. This is all going so downhill that I might just stop visiting the forums at all.
Indeed, I agree that the atmosphere is getting a little hostile, not only between regular members, but also towards the newer participants of our community. There are many a times where new topics are created without much thought or effort, resulting in repeat threads, them appearing in the wrong section, or simply awaiting to be flamed, which I am strongly against. As Elites and Elders of the community, all of you have the right to point these newbies in the right direction, though some of your methods may be less than desirable.
Phrasing your words to make them sound sincerely helpful and less arrogant can have a profound effect on others. All of us started off as a newbie at one point or another, hoping to gain acceptance from others; hearing kinds words will increase the probability of one continuing to engage the various discussions, while harsh replies may result in a new user leaving forever. The same concept applies in reality, where customer service is important in attracting potential customers.
Like I have mentioned in the past, there are bound to be users on the internet whom we dislike, where their very words and actions get on our nerves. However, that does not provide any valid reason for one to insult these users or bait them into starting a heated argument.
I urge all Fakku members to think twice before posting and if one does not have any constructive comments to add to a particular discussion, then don't. Walking away from trolls can be the best solution for all parties, even the bystanders.
Now that I am on topic, I might as well address the others issues I have on mind, one of which would be the way some of you come up with replies. Some of you may already know that I am not a big supporter of single word replies, much less those containing just a quote from another member. If you don't get what I mean, the following would be an example:

This is absolutely hilarious.
I don't think it will take up much time for any of you to come up with a single sentence stating your opinion on the matter, instead of the above. A simple "This^", "QFT", "I agree", etc, does not help much either. Yes, it is difficult to change one's habit, much less a subculture on the forum, but we have to start somewhere. In the very least, it will make the forum appear less spammy.
I am pretty sure there is a lot more I wish to talk about, but it is getting late. If I do have some time over the next few days, I may add on to what I have already said, but for now, I appeal to all Fakku members to work together in making our forum a better place for all.
To end off, I shall leave all of you with a couple of hentai images, which is always related.
P.S. Even though some of us may get de-repped occasionally, I wouldn't bear to see any of you leave the community, especially the regular members. Your respective opinions and experience can go a long way to improving things around here.
Edit: Added colour, with recommendation from Rengo, to emphasize the key points of my post. :)
