I wouldn't mind a story in between MSG and 0083 (might even go as far up to Zeta Gundam) Probably one of the things I will be looking for in the new UC series is the amount of information between the the 2 series. During 0083, there was the whole conspiracy thing in the ESF side where GP03 was "canceled". I'd also like to see stuff on the Zeon's point of view. Maybe we'll get to see Char somewhere if they ever decide to put him in as a minor character or just a quick cameo.

Char most likely will make a cameo or even take a role I think...
it's UC series and Char is like an icon in Gundam world

btw I curios about the chara design will look like...because lately gundam chara is a bishounen...

and mecha design too since it's still UC 0081 the mecha will most likely look like oyw era...but I'm curios because I think mecha fan couldn't be satisfied just with teh old design....

Why do I have a feeling there will be some kind of Love Triangle with these characters.

Perhaps something around the level of Gundam MK-II maybe lower.

I imagine the designs will be updated a little bit, but they shouldn't be gigantic powerhouses like SEED or 00. At least, they better not be powerhouses.

They shouldn't be as simple as the original Gundam RX-78 nor as complex as the Zeta. Rather, the Gundam MkII, which Kamille upgraded to the Zeta.

What about in comparison Gundam Alex or GP01? 0081 timeline should be in between MSG and Zeta so the RX-78-7 shouldn't be too complicated or too strong.

Kinda dissapointed it wasn't Sentinel but like you said its still U.C so its good.

I'm actually waiting until I see the official art for the anime before commenting more. However since its 0081 I'm hoping to see Amuro and Char makes an appearance. Also since this is the U.C I'm expecting good fights from both sides.

Wow it's good they made the ESF protagonist so old. 32 years old while the girl protagonist is 24 and the Zeon lead is 20. There will probably be some kind of love triangle I expect. However I just can't wait to see the gundam Designs. It's been a while since they've launched a U.C. based Gundam series. I have high expectations for it!

But I get the feeling that the series isn't going to be too long. Maybe it's paranoia since after Victory Gundam, all the UC series have been short, but after looking at the design, my Newtype abilities are telling me that the series won't last long. I hope I'm wrong though.

RX-78-7 design remind me of RX-78-2 ver Ka, but it's good.
I just don't expect the color scheme is similar with RX-78-2 since unit 3 to 6 have different color.

And the character design is good, as I expected before there will be a boyish character^^

Hmm...previous series like SEED and 00 has more than 1 gundam on it...
I really like to see if this series have more than one gundam...
RX-78-8 or something maybe...
Hope this series can deliver a good impression for UC fans like me.

This looks promising, the chara designs is Great, not too overrated or underrated.

and yes as ecpected from a RX-78 series, it really looks like the original gundam but a little bit more artistic, not too blocky.

And I hope there's a love conflict. :lol:

Good thing from this is the mecha designer is Katoki Hajime or KA so expect crazy upgrade for the RX-78-7. From some discussion on other forums it seems like there will be a full armor mode for the Gundam, its still unconfirmed though...

Interestingly enough the charater designer is Tatsuya Suzuki who also did character design for Aniyome wa Ijipari which is a hentai anime and also Gaogaigar.

I hope everyone realizes that it's not a full series, but an OVA, which will obviously only be a few episodes long. If we're lucky, it'll be 13 episodes like Gundam 0083, but that's doubtful. Of course, I hope another Gundam series is in the works.
