Has anime increased you expectation of women/men?

I don't know if their always like that in Anime and Manga, I mean after all there are different personalitys. Women can be annoying and strong while guys can be scared and weak it all depends on which anime.

But No, Anime didn't increase my expectation of woman and men because humans will always have the same flaws but it did make me become more picky.

Everyone have different experiences though, my ex have a thing to fall for troubled women, wanting to save them for their own depression and problems. And he usually become burnt by their depression thus his view on women are that they don't change, and their all pure evil.

While my best friend is the hottest goddamn chick in high school, well I'm out of high school and I moved away so we're not as much in touch but yeah, she wants a relationship but everytime she opens up to a guy she ends up being played.

Honestly, I think both women and male cheat just as much. It just depends on where you look. A straight guy won't give his attention to guys, he rather choose the female to get to know then the male so he'll have more experience with the bad things females does then males. my view atleast.

Clannad really affected me. Not in my expectations but...in how I define love. I really want so beautiful a life that Tomoya led...it may be simple and unfulfilling to outsiders, but it's satisfying.

I don't know, from comparing to my life experiences to anime, real life relationships move so much faster. In anime it takes like 25 episodes for the main protagonist and their love interest just to kiss. In real life people can meet a each other at a party and be fucking by the end of the week or even that night. There is no real cat and mouse game in real life like there is in anime, which makes me kind of sad. I don't like the idea of meeting a somewhat drunk chick and making out with her that night. I really, honestly don't think I have it in me to make out with a girl I know nothing about or like for that matter. Apparently to my friends, that makes me weird and a bitch.
