Don't think too much on it. Doug Benson(the first "analyst") is a commenter on VH1's I Love the * series, and the other two have no background to legitimately discuss this topic. It's just Fox news getting ratings by playing on Canadian stereotypes while dickstroking themselves with the American superiority mentality.

I hope that's a joke. If publicly making fun of other countries started world wars, we would be on WW 3004 right now.
What causes world wars is one superpower invading a place that pisses off another superpower. The current war in Iraq could have caused a world war if that region had significant backing by other world superpowers.
Along that line of thought, you could justify the claim that no one will invade Canada because of the United States by saying i would cause a world war, but I very much doubt that is the most significant reason why.
And I'm also sure that the Canadian forces would return to active combat on home soil if attacked. It's not like they would just say, "Oh, man, Russia is invading...well, I'm on vacation, but someone else should really do something about that."
And anyway, there are better things to make fun of Canada for that a strategic break of military action in order to recoup equipment and funds. That's not an insane thing to do.

I mean, I joke on Canada a lot, but I'm not going to mock an entire country in such a brash an annoying manner.

It would be Sweden, wouldn't it?

isnt Sweden considered a military power in the Scandinavian region? Not that it has much of a military but it would be better to compare Canada to Iceland.

Off topic but: Sweden is a great country from what I've heard, my great grandfather was from Malmo. It sounds like the kind of place I could tolerate living in, or at least one of the closest things currently available. ;)
