I'd hire a few hitmen with the promise of "You'll live and get paid plenty of money when the job's done," and let them lose upon my enemies (I HATE those guys.) After those I hate are destroyed, I'd set my sights higher - If I'm going to destroy the world, I certainly don't want to be ON it, so I'd get the guys at NASA to furnish my own personal spacecraft to take me away - Remember, during all of this, I would have a few world leaders hostage and at gunpoint should someone refuse my demands.
After I'm in cold space, far away from the spinning blue ball, I do a quick check to make sure everyone I give a shit about is safely on another rocket far away from the planet. When all is well, I reach over and grab "the button." You know, the one that blows it all up?
I push it.
