I'd Be Going to Hell....

If I believed in it I would defiantly be going there.

The story is like this I started my new job about 2 weeks ago and there is this girl there, she’s deaf and mute (and I think you know where this is going). I had thought she was pretty hot as she really fit my type, but it’s like…. Well just as I was signing out today she uttered this attempt to say something and came short only uttering this unbelievably cute sound. I almost popped a bonner right there in front of her, I hurried out but I’m still thinking about it even now. I don’t think I’m going to be able to work with her and not picture her like that anymore.

Am I seriously messed up for thinking she’s hot for being disabled?

Geez, it's not wrong but you better decided where you are going with this. You can't just use a deaf/mute as eye candy. I'd try to be her friend first but like Rbz says, don't exploit her, but if your interested go for it. Especially cause in my experience, mute girls are VERY shy and don't communicate with boys alot, so she'd probably like to she someone interested in her.

Actually, a lot of other women are used as eye candy all the time, but now that we have one with a disability we should supress our urges to think she's good to look at?

If we thought it was wrong to love disabled girls then Katawa Shoujo wouldn't be as popular as it is. Besides it's not like you're taking advantage of some mentally impaired girl, she probably knows all about sex.

Meh thinking that she's attractive isn't a sin everyone would of probably had dirty thoughts like you did, but if your thinking about starting a relationship with her I'm not sure how that'll work out because she's deaf and mute. Katawa Shoujo does seem like a pretty good example of what's going on here, but one thing of advice is that not all work related relationships seem to work out. Also if she's a mute how is that she was able to make a sound? Or is it because I have little to no interaction with disabled people that I'm just making a mistake.

Actually some mute can make sounds...But its only like *little air coming out*...she's also deaf, so maybe she tried to say it loud as she can, and it made a little sound...well i think Gin find that a little cute ...XD

Edit: I exampled Katawa Shoujo, to point out, even though she's disabled, there's a chance you'd fall or like her...It can happen in real life.

Because it is just plain wrong, because another women who saw you eyeing her could say something to you, because a deaf/mute person already has enough problems without you treating her that way. I am not talking about using her as eye candy as in you saw her one day and fantasied about her later. I'm talking about you work with her, and see her everyday. Don't think girls are oblivious to the eyeing that they get from guys.

Of course, if you don't think it is wrong because in your opinion we should fairly treat her with a lack of respect as we do other women, then I see the point you are trying to make. I just don't happen to agree with it.

Nevermind, cause I didn't mean eyecandy as in just thinking she is attractive or good to look at, but I meant treating her as eye candy in the sense of gawking at er or checking her out at work on a daily basis.

It's best just to get to the point, but a little more sign language then just "hey, your hawt... let's sex." might yield better results. I'd learn how to say "What is your sign?"... I hear it is a great sign language joke.

I don't think you are going to hell, you find this girl attractive and are attracted to her. That is normal, just don't openly pressure her, just be friendly, and work with it, if things work out then things work out if not then hey, at least you tried.

Also, disabled !=(not equal) disgusting. The way I see it, if you think she's cute, that's perfectly fine.

You taking the "mute" part too literally. "Mute" just means she is unable to speak a language; most likely due to being deaf.
