Thats life.
We are the top of the food chain.
We have to eat, those chickens were born in the factory to be killed and eaten.
And guess what, eating eggs is the same thing. They are born yet never given the chance to live.
Some things in life we cannot do anything.

People run over squirrels, possums, raccoons, chipmunks, and birds all the time. Its just fate.

About the beak breaking, I'm pretty sure its to stop the chickens from hurting each other.

Either way, I don't care. We were born human. We will do what we like to live happily. If that means we have to do that to enjoy some chicken from a fast food place...let it be.
I like beef better anyway.
raw beef.
No one can deny that, like it or not. For as long as I can remember, I've been hearing about the problems with veal. Baby cows are put in small crate type containers, restricting their movement in order to "specially prepare" the meat of their bodies for the inevitable brutal slaughtering and distribution so that rich assholes can enjoy consuming dead, tortured, baby cows. The operative word being
dead. Sure the calves lived a terrible life, but people are paying extra for it and as long as they are enjoying it, does that not give some significance to the horrible conditions of their food's life.
