I'm glad to get mixed reactions to this because I use it myself. I work with my hands so I have to keep my hands in good condition if not anything else. That is the only reason I use it.
I work with my hands too, but I don't use lotion.
Do you spend prolonged periods outside retrieving carts? Do you spend your time inside grabbing anything from glass jars to cardboard boxes and putting them into plastic or paper bags? Or breaking down cardboard boxes? It dries out your hands and makes the skin brittle and considering we use a bio metric finger print reader at work for our clock system I need to keep them in tip top shape.
Actually, aside from the retreving carts bit, I do. I also spend some time with my hands in water and sanatizing fluids. But I also spend a good bit of time with latex gloves on and don't have sensitive skin.
I also clock in with a number. I don't work at a place as evil a Kroger who wants to own your soul...
You shouldn't use Anti-bacterial soaps too much, it's not very common, but if you use them a lot your body can build up a resestance to certain anti-biotics. which would suck if you got an infection of some kind.
Also, urine is sterile, and is made mostly of amonia, which kills most bacteria. So while pissing on your hands is pretty nasty, it's not as bad as it seems.
