most painful event in your life

Seems like I am not the only one here that has been shot. Although mine isn't as bad as yours. I was shot twice with a .357 magnum. Luckly I was wearing a vest at the time (Was working) Stopped the first round, slowed the second one down enough that it didn't do more than break the skin (which is lucky since I would be dead if it hadn't, right over the heart) That hurt like a fucking mule. (not to mention knock the breath out of me)

was wondering but if it counts as a worse experience if it happened to my family member he got his leg blown off during a war. *not going to get into more*

That happened to my uncle during 'Nam. He was clearing a minefield... yeah. Also, this is a true story, not one of my 'Nam jokes.


Anyway, I believe I told this story in a different thread, but I was shot in the foot. Fiend thought it would be funny to shoot next to my foot to freak me out, his scope was out of whack from being bumped around, yeah. Not fun.

Physical: Once for protecting little brother from being hit by my stepfather, he has heavy hands so hit hits extremely hard. He's also really brutal for no fucking reason.

Then another time as we were walking up the stairs he 'jokingly' slapped my ass so I shoved him and hit me in the head so hard that I started bawling ( which is rare for me ). I also, almost got hit by mom after that because I shoved her for saying, "You shouldn't have hit him back." She put her hand up but then left me alone.

Emotional: Grandma dying then father dying two months after her.

Getting a brick thrown at my head, thankfully it was just superficial wounding and not a cracked open skull. I was young at the time, ish, about 10. I walked inside calmly before I noticed blood streaming over my right eye. And I went into shock, so I couldn't feel anything. Thankfully, I used the alternate to stitches and it didn't hurt when it healed.

Oh, and it was funny. I feel off the toilet after having a shower [I was trying to open a window] and face planted onto the bath. A front tooth went right through my bottom lip, and it hurt so much. I can still feel the scarring a little on the inside of my mouth. Didn't go to A&E, just pulled it out and waited.

Also, hand + heater at one stage.

There are like, "don't run" signs all over those places. You should really listen to signs more often.

Physically, the most painful event I had was when I dislocated my left arm and nearly broken some major bones. It was in a quite elevated position (above a table) and initially it didn't hurt but when the school's physician held my elbow it sent really fucking painful signals up my body, and I ost consciousness. When I woke up I was in a taxi.

Emotionally, the greatest pain was in 2nd year college. It was emotionally sad for me to fail 2 major subjects in college and I got the failing news - on my mom's birthday. I was in pain and anguish because she was working 9 hours a day, 6 days a week for me to go to college and the only thing I can give her on her birthday is two failed subjects. I spent the afternoon crying over at my friend's house on how stupid and ungrateful I can be.

This happend not to long ago Febuary in fact. My grandfather (on my mom side) died,
I cried for 2 whole days. I was really close to him I hade nown him ever sens I can remember, and at that point I decide to honour by never drink alcohole and beat his record 65 years of never drink alcohol again.

I got hit in the mouth with a baseball on two separate occasions as a child. The first time it was a very hot day and the sun was bright. My Dad was doing warm-ups with me before the game started (I was in one of those leagues for children). He threw the ball high. I looked up in the sky but the sun was there and I was feeling groggy from the heat and it hit my bottom lip. Even though my Mom was quick to put ice on it and take me home, it swelled up. I couldn't eat properly for the next ten days. The second occasion was much later in another league when I was doing warm-ups with my coach. I was distracted by something and when the coach threw the ball it hit me in the mouth. It knocked out a tooth and loosened up another. Aside from when I donate blood, I have never seen so much of my own blood spill out; my entire right hand that I held up to stop the bleeding was almost entirely caked with blood. I quit from the league then (or rather my Mom removed me from it), and needless to say, I have an aversion to baseball now.

Another incident: one winter me and my Dad went sledding. The sled I had was just the usual rounded plastic thing, and as expected, I started going down forwards, then I got turned around backwards, then the sled came out from under me and I tumbled the rest of the way down. I finally came to a stop just in time to see my Dad also crash. Now that doesn't sound too bad, right? Well, the problem was I lost feeling in my entire body and I couldn't move for like ten seconds. We went home after that, but it wasn't until we were halfway home that my body finally regained all of its feeling. Needless to say, I have an aversion to sledding now.

I GOT SHOT ON THE STREET IN THE STOMACH BY A NIGGA

When I was a senior and riding a motorcycle, Me, My Friends and my girlfriend went to the beach to drink, after drinking I dropped my GF back at school, about a block, a car almost hit me, I avoided the car, but my motorcycle ran on a wet surface, so i slipped, my motorcycle went over me(good thing i wasnt hit), but it was a kinda rough road so, i started sliding, i stopped sliding it was like 15 ft, and i wasnt wearing any motorcycle suit or helmet, just my school uniform XD, My girlfriend was starring at me, i just picked up my motorcycle, sat on the ground, smoking, got back up, ignored GF, went home bleeding...I didnt really feel pain while i was smoking, but when i was riding back home, with a broken steering wheel, it started to kick in, blood was dripping in my hand...Yes, Half-Drunk, Bleeding Student, Life is great...

Ooohh...BTW everyone that borrowed that motorcycle, HAD and accident, Even My brother who's half life is about motorcycles, 2 of my friends borrowed that bike, after they left, they had and accident, so they switched places, on the way back they had an accident...all of those who rode that bike, call it Devils Bike...Yes, I had 5 accident on that bike...

One faithful afternoon I broke both my legs in a standard game of football. I broke my Tibia on my left side, and my fibula on my left side. This happened 2 months ago, Im wheeling my ass around still :D

When I was like 4 years old, I was going to my uncles house with my parents and my brother. It was one of those old cars with metal wires inside the lining of the seats. The wire on my side was hanging out pretty damn far, and my brother pushed me when I went to get out of the car. It cut me straight down my entire leg, about 3 inches deep the entire way down.

In 8th grade, I pissed this girl off who I used to get into arguments with (She looked like a frog AND she was damn strong) during gym, so she and her two friends jumped me, then did a team up groin stomp. I dont know how long I was down there but I somehow caught the foot(I so dont know how cause they were pinning me down at the time) and pushed the girl. Then, being the macho I am, I ran. Of course frog girl and her little tadpoles gave pursuit, and with a stomped groin I could get very far very fast. So they caught me on the bleachers and began punching me in the stomach with pencils(I didnt get lead poisoning)and one of them was kicking me in the shin, very hard mind you, so I think it was frog girl. So that day I finally hit a girl back but I screwed up and my fist caught her tooth, which happened to be sharp enough to peel AAAAAAAALLLL the way back to my elbow. Now when I threw this mighty strike, and only catching her tooth, I kept going and fell off the high bleachers and landed on my arm, which broke my wrist. So the gym teacher FINALLY sees them abusing me and tells them to stop. I ask to go to the nurse, then I call my mom and tell her my arm is broken. For SOME strange reason she doesnt believe me because Im not crying and am too calm. So I go through the rest of the school day in agony. After school, frog girl wanted round two, but I was like fuck everything and ran for my life. Then as Im running across the street, what do you know I get hit by a minivan, which breaks my right leg in two places. But wait, it doesnt stop there. Frog girl didnt care about me being disabled and already in enough pain, she runs up to me and stomps me in the face, cracking my noses tip. So the guy in the mini van gets out and helps me, then takes me to the hospital, yadda yadda yadda, the frog girl ONLY gets suspended, yadda yadda yadda....a few months later they end up taking my cast off, but it turns out they had it casted wrong n my leg so they take that off, which effectively causes my leg to completely rebreak and forced to deal with that for an additional two months. Thats about the most pain Ive had at once.

Physically painful? Well...

Age 10 (October '93): Was playing a game with some neighbor kids, and as I was running down the street in the gutter I slipped on some gravel and landed on my chin on the sidewalk. Still have the scar to prove it.

Age 10, just before turning 11 (early July '94): My family was housesitting for my parents' bosses. They had a golden retriever named Trumpet. I made the mistake of trying to pet him and kiss him when he was chewing on a bone. Ended up bit vampire-style in the throat. Still have one of the scars from that.

Age 11 (September '94): Playing with my friend and her cousin outside. The cousin was goofing around and headbutted me in the mouth. I spat blood for a good 45 minutes. Didn't knock out any teeth but it did kill one of my upper front teeth.

Age 11 (April and July '95): Eye surgery for lazy eye. First surgery failed, so I got a repeat of it three months later.

Age 14 (August '97): First day of high school, me and my older brother were walking to school. His friend pulled up behind us in his truck, and as we turned and ran towards it I slipped on some gravel and fell, tearing away some skin from my knee. That left a nice scar, but it faded after a couple years.

Age 22 (January '06): Coworker on a ladder dropped a 20-pound box of shirts on my head from ten feet up. Gave me a concussion and sprained my neck and aggravated an old back injury.

Age 22 (May '06): Came down with pleurisy. If you don't know what that is, it's inflammation of the lining of the lungs. Now I can honestly say I know what an elephant on your chest feels like. That's when I discovered the miracle that is Vicodin.

Age 25 (December '08 ): I slipped on some icy steps outside the house and landed on my butt and my spine on the edge of the aforementioned steps. A week later, I'd thought I was better but when my b/f started roughhousing with me he inadvertantly sprained my hip (oh trust me, I screamed). Got put on Vicodin again for that. Took a while to resolve itself.

when i was 7 i was trying to learn how to ride a bicycle and i fell into the road and a car hit me. had alot of broken bones, stuck in a wheelchair for 1 year.

when i was 14 i tripped over my cat fell down 2 flights of stairs, sat in a wheel chair for another year.

when i was 16, we went paint balling and i got shot in the head and fainted. lol.

were you not wearing a mask, or did you faint from frieght? I really don't now how either could happen, I've been shot in the face and in the back of the head from like 3 feet away (Friendly fire!! friendly fire!!!!!).

And I hurt like a mofo, but not any were close to where I'd would faint. Most of the time you get shot in the face with a mask on, you don't even see it coming. One second you can see, the next you hear a *POWP*, and then your vision is yellow or purple or whatever is on your mask.
