Mysteries of Pokemon

On my opinion, I feel that the major mystery is where do they get their food from, especially meat...

And if there is a pokemon graveyard, why does all pokemons seem to live forever and cant die... You can drop a nuclear bomb on it, burn it, it will just faint afterwards...

If you read the manga or watch the anime, you will know that they do need to eat. They need to be fed by their trainers.

In the game, you just assume they eat at the Pokemon Centre.

Also, Pokemon can die too. You can see that there are graves in every game. The reason why Pokemon simply "faints" is because the trainer recalls the Pokemon before it gets too damaged and close to dying.

Now that you mention it, I do remember those. -_-

How did that anime get so popular ? Will it ever end ? Can those translations (and corresponding voice-acting) get even worse ?

Don't mind me -- I may simply be too old to appreciate it.

I won't deny that Arcanines and Rapidashes is very very cool to me. The first time I watched pokemon, it was probably over age of 11.

But yeah it did get tiresome on pikachu being winnah in every single battle even against rock pokemons. I remeber thinking what Earth would been like if Pokemon were a real deal. That and the planet ash is found on must be really really really huge.

At least Pikachu knows Iron Tail now, so he doesn't get the BS Electric working on Ground Pokemon wins anymore. That's not to say Pikachu DOESN'T get BS wins, but he does get less of them.

Pokemon anime is shounen, therefore it will never end. As for translations, well, 4Kids isn't involved anymore, so it's gotten MUCH better. I would still like to have all the Japanese music back in though.

Didn't Satoshi Tajiri say that DP&Platinum were the last of the series? Avid pokemon fan here, hoping for a G/S remake!

The real question is when will Misty stop being such a tease?

It's because I watched so much of it back in my olden days, and I still play the games. I personally think the games are fantastic with quite some depth.


The anime is a little childish and repetitive, I agree, but have you ever tried the manga? It's very good.

Oh, and the Jap seiyuus are pretty decent.


He never said that. D/P broke the 10 million line and Platinum sold 2 million in Jap alone. This merchandise is far from dying.


Misty was out of the anime for quite some time now, and in the Manga she doesn't follow Red around quite as much. She also actually contribute to the plot.

When she stops appearing in the series ... Damn it, May has already appeared in DP so where's Misty, huh writers?!

Will Cynthia appear again?

Actually May is from R/S. Dawn is in D/P. And Misty occasionally appears in Pokemon Chronicles and once in the anime.

I just watched t this morning when I had to send my little brother to school... I happens in like nearly episode that I can remember. Ash and his buddies are doing something and Team Rocket come to Fuck it up and sing their annoying theme song and steal some Poke'mon then. Ash with Pikachu zap Team rocket and they fly away. Happy story, The End...

Plus I needa check out this manga... I remember reading a little bit a while ago like 3 years ago. Red walks in on Misty in the shower or something... Can't remember but oh well

Yeah that's what pretty much happens in show. You think the producers would make Team Rocket smarter or make them move on instead of trying to steal Pikachu. And shouldn't Pikachu be at least lvl 80? From the recent season it still seems it's still at lvl 10 :?
