Spent my hour break cuddling with my bf while he stroked my hair and told me how much he loves me. Also buying 2 and a half week's worth of groceries for $25 dollars. Which essentially amounts to I can feed myself per week for about $12 which is awesome considering I'm broke this paycheck lol
Ehh!?! Damn you... No wait... Is it a bunch of unhealthy stuff (like instant ramen)? If so, I'm not as jealous.
Nope, no ramen at all. They key was buying in bulk, I needed food to last me 16 days until my paycheck so I purchased food with quantities of 16 in a package or more. I also shopped at Wal-Mart instead of a regular grocery store because the supersized Wal-Mart carries a lot more options for buying in bulk. I'm assuming because lots of large families shop there. *shrugs*
It just makes more sense to me to purchase a 2 week supply of groceries than to buy $5 worth of fast food and quick meals every day. If I purchased $5 in fast food a day that'd be $35 per week and $70 between 2 weeks, which doesn't even factor in that usually I don't just get $5 worth of fast food, I might purchase coffee or 1 thing from the store. *shrugs*
