One insignificant thing you dislike about today.

Working 12:30 to 9:30. My whole day devoted to retail, not exactly how I want to spend my day. I might sneak my sketchbook behind the counter and try to complete a few more things.

Messed up a transaction at work again. This time wasn't entirely my fault though.

A guy bought something for £1.99 and went to pay with a £20 quid note. Put it through as normal, opened the draw, gave him his change, suddenly; "Oh sorry I have the change after all" so money had to be swapped back and he instead paid with pennies. (Fucking fun)

The guy came back soon after looking for a 20 quid note he said he'd lost. Told him I hadn't seen one but if he wanted I could take a name and number in case it turned up. He declined, citing that people are "dishonest" and probably would've kept it, and walked off. Then I wondered whether I actually gave his money back in the confusion, so I asked someone to check the till just in case. Lo and behold, I had forgotten. And the guy didn't leave his name or number, so we were 20 quid up.

Thinking about it I should've just said "Sorry I've already opened the till" and left it at that, but being Nice Guy Me, I just did what he wanted to do. And look what happened.

Rosie told me not to worry about it; they'd rather be up in profits than down and worst case scenario is a slap on the wrist.

One of my female coworkers was trying to get something from storage and she was obviously having a hard time. Seeing as how nobody seemed to be willing to help her I stepped in to help her finish the job. Though she did thank me the others just stood there staring at me as if I were an animal.

So um.. what's wrong with helping people in need again?

My valentines plans are kaput.
Cherry will make it up to me I know, but I'll be alone on Valentine's Day.

Was playing advanced wars and I missed my bus stop. Actually I missed it 10 times.

Car broke down

Got one of my waifus to-be stolen out of inadvertent karmic retribution.

Cleaning my ass I got a bit of poop on my finger.

Pipe burst and my place is a bit flooded, though my complex is putting me up in a hotel for a bit till it's fixed.

• I forgot to spray under my arms before going to the charity shop today. Was fortunate I washed the night before and I didn't sweat too much, but I noticed a distinct odour coming from my shoes which was more obvious when I took them off. I don't think anybody noticed, but I do think I need to air them out at some point before wearing them again.

• An old friend's wedding was today and I completely forgot. Feel like such a dick. That's what I get for deciding to go on Facebook less. I miss stuff.

As said yesterday my plans were kaput
(Cherry came home with Pocky and tons of candy for us to share though
No watching cheesy romantic comedies all day. It'll have to wait till Monday.

I feel like there is something i gotta do, but i simply can't figure out what

The entire day in general.

• Got called in early for work because the girl who was supposed to be in with us refused to come in citing that she specifically told the Manager that she can't do Sundays. So it was just the two of us.
  [*]Till 1 wasn't accepting Loyalty cards and its Card reader wasn't accepting Debit cards and had been like that since Friday. Couldn't get them fixed because our I.T department don't work weekends. Big load of whoop-de-fucking-do for us.
  [*]Half way through the day the Card reader on Till 2 decided to fuck up as well, crashing the system entirely by simply selecting "Card". It took 10 minutes to reboot and we lost a sale because the customer got bored and wanted to go home. So we went the rest of the day without Card readers and I had to print out "This till is cash only" messages.
  [*]Because of that, I had to pay for a cheap-as-chips Tablet, which we were selling, with cash. I didn't have enough dosh on me so I had to make a trip to a cashpoint after I finished work then come back.
  [*]Took forever to get home because I missed a bus and it's Sunday Service
  [*]And all this with an aching back. And I'm off out again in 45 minutes

Somehow smashed my face into a door hard enough to make a mark on said door.
I seem to have a pretty durable face, heh.

Burnt my tongue eating curry

Yesterday: I had one of 'those' headaches. First in about 4 months...
I know the causes, countermeasures are in place.

If sleep is for the weak, then i sure as hell ain't a strong one.

My manager screwed me over and told me to go to work today... and here I was looking forward to do some school work in the library this afternoon.

Balancing out school work and my job became hell of a lot harder this term seeing as how I have three modules that involve team work. My group meeting schedule never seems to match my teammates' schedules due to the fact that I work four days a week.
