Well we had a family meeting and told everyone how its my choice but it ended up turning into them planning what to make me do.
My parents are divorced so you got the 2 sides wanting me todo diffrent things and Im being tossed around in the middle. By the way good morning everyone I just woke up =p

I am just tired of sitting around in my home town tryed hard to make it somewhere and make it no where. I am 19 now and I have no money in my pocked actully I owe money and all I have to my name is my car. I havent gotten any closer to moving out and I am not getting any hours at work. So I figure join the navy see the world make some money so when I get out I can be like I have MEDIC on my background from the navy to throw in the fire departments face and some money to move out and like move in with a friend while I go through the accademy.
Also yes it is my real picture I was bored this morning and was changing the bunny picture so figured why not change both. It bothers me when I have a picture up for a while. Because on myspace I am used to changing mine once a day. Plus I just got a camera for christmass and I still need to wear it in. =p
By the way I also dont care what anyone says those bunnies are the greatest even though I havent played the game I just love the comercials so much.

Why are your parents 'making you'? I mean, obviously if you were in a program then you are over 18 and not under their rule anymore. Do you live with them? Do you rely on them for money?
If so then yeah I could see where that would make a hitch in your plan. Go ahead and join the Navy though, you won't be living with them anymore and it will seem more like you life, but if they are giving you money now for anything, be prepared they might not do so anymore, also make sure your self sufficient when you leave the Navy because afterwards they might get on you if you try to move back in with them.
If your on your own already though, just do it. Sit down and explain things calmly and have them ask you questions and try to make them understand. If they don't, just tell them this is a decision that you are making as an adult and you hope some day they will learn to accept it.
Trying to find jobs now really suck. You could also go down to your local unemployment office and they should have a list of places who are hiring, also they might have those work a day things where they give u some random job for a day and u get paid right after (those are usually first come first serve).

Even when you decide to leave, renting an apartment isn't so much and maybe you could find someone who you have met through there that is looking to and you could split it. Before I gave myself 6 months or I would join the army (cause I totally wasn't doing anything with myself), but I work now so it never came to that. Is there some kind of financial aid the Fire Dept gives for classes? I mean, there probably isn't a lot of women doing that, maybe u can find some scholorships or people that would sponsor you to get you into a class.

No and there are alot of woman fire fighters now a days. My teacher was a women over in van nuys and also the fire captain at that station was a woman and one of the fire fighters at the station im going to be teaching the new class has a woman too. So its true there arent as many as men of coarse but there is like 1 out of every 10 guys. The only thing is alot of girls come to the classes and just end up droping out.
