I hate that site so much. Words cannot describe how lame it is. I was there for no longer then a hour and said fuck you to some 15 year old who was being a whiney little bitch then everyone hated me. It's has some people that are retarded and can't can't take a joke or sarcasm in any shape or form. They even have a section if I remember right where members pretend marry each other. How fucking stupid is that?

Well I joined AOD forums awhile back, and just been a lurker until now just for their coupons for borders and shit. And no offense if anyone is a member of that place, but there forums suck. I'm always like wtf am I suppose to do? It's hard to navigate on there. -_-
Fakku forums are the best I've seen.

O-b-w used to suck, but then it got rickrolled.

I've only really been to this one, a Project Forum, Zelda Universe Forums, and Teh Spam Forum.


The Project Forum was pretty good. To the point, with some socializing. I get the feeling I did most the work though. (I made the custom sprite sheets, he designed the game, which didn't happen, I think it was just a motivation problem though.)


The Zelda Universe Forums It sucked, not too bad though. It had way too many members who all thought, and acted exactly the same.

Teh Spam Forum... [size=10]Is awesome! It, as the name implies, is all about spam, and all randomness is pretty much welcome anywhere in it. Spam Bots are welcome too in fact, their topics usually spur many replies.

Most of the active members are moderaters, and it's pretty easy to become a moderater.

There's only 2 active [color=red]Admins[/color], and 1 [color=blue]Patron Deity[/color]. I am the Patron Deity there, if you're curious click on my signature. [/h]

[size=10](It has minors purusing it's pages though so keep it slightly civil, we won't delete your post or ban you or anything, but we will ask permission to change it slightly so it is merely funny, not too lewd.) [/h]

[size=10]Even Banned members can post, but in a section for the "Ban'd" a few moderators and admins have banned themselves so they can join the Ban'd, and post. Most of the Ban'd Members are such. Also the Ban'd is viewed as a musical group on said forum.[/h]

That sounds . . . unique. I don't know if I'd be comfortable with so many mods around though.

Which leads into more bitching about the local convention's forum - there are way too many mods! I guess it's because there are a lot of people who are in charge and make the convention happen every year, and on the forums they're given mod status, but it's disconcerting to see that one subforum has six moderators. Especially when the forums aren't that active. The fear that if you get banned on the forums, they may somehow ban you from the convention itself doesn't help.

That sounds retarded! There should never be much more than 2 moderaters per section. Though I think if you trust someone enought to moderate, they should just be made a global moderater.

Can I have the url for that forum? Curiosity has stuck.




If anybody gave ya trouble I'd open a can'o'whoop-ass all over them. Doubt that would happen though. They mostly use it to edit in text on spambots, or during gravedigs.
