Question for all guys/girls who translate, edit or draw...

...H stuff (sorry, title was too long)

So, I thought about this - can you, those who create, translate or edit H material of any kind, still get off to stuff you worked on?

As for me, I can't most of the time. It's just like all the "magic" which made me work on it in the first place is gone afterwards.

I guess I looked at that stuff too long to fully enjoy it anymore...

What's your take on this?

Must be because I Take pride in making a drawing and want it to remain pure and clean...

I edit, and I have to say I might have been aroused by one or two doujin or h-manga we've worked on so far. I mean, I stare at the page long enough, I might as well get some enjoyment out of it.

I've tried to draw some stuff, but only ever managed to draw one picture becuase every time I try to draw some thing I get too horny and I haven't bothered to draw any thing else yet

Now that I think of it, I never get aroused when "working". I'm usually too busy with the text and looking up Kanji and stuff...

It's like the pictures don't exist at all and when I look at them, it is to see whether the text is in the right context... :\

Sometimes I can get a little hot n' bothered in the midst of translating if it's a sexy conversation, but by the end I feel like I've had to analyze everything so clinically that it loses the fap magic. There's actually a manga or two that I like a lot but I'll probably never translate, because I find it too sexy to want to risk losing the appeal.

No. I have found some of my works cute, but never arousing.

It's really a dilemma... it's like we're trading off our own enjoyment in order to let others enjoy our work. Kinda selfless :D

When reading stuff other people worked on, it's all fresh and new, even if we knew the unedited doujin/book/chapter beforehand.

No matter how sexy i make a character i still cant fap to it. I think it has to do with the fact that i never intended for the piece of work to be "fapped" to when i was drawing it in the first place.

Hmm I guess I didn't make myself clear then (sorry bout that)... I had people in mind who work with ero stuff. Stuff that is MEANT to be fapped to.

If you create art that isn't meant for that purpose, I can clearly see why the artist himself wouldn't want to.

Hmm, i use to draw Ero work, but i still could not bring myself to Fap to it. I guess i just have too much pride in my work.

it's bad enough that I fap to 3D girls (the kind in ILLUSION games), 2d girls, mizugi girls, Jap Av idols, Maid girls, Miko Girls, Nude 2D girls, nude lolis, mizugi lolis, bloomer lolis, and 2D girls with thigh-high socks.

I don't think i need my drawings to be on the list.
