Just got back from watching Expendables 2. Its almost exactly like the first one, except a bit worse, I don't think they have enough depth in it to continue to a 3 if they want to milk it. 6.5/10

Watched the original 1957 movie '12 ANGRY MEN' on Youtube.
10/10 for an absolutely fantastic film, Watched it 3 times over the past 2 weeks. (Its THAT good) :D

I saw The Expendables 2.
As an action movie: 10/10. Fuckin' awesome. People dying and shit exploding left and right. A star-studded as fuck cast of action movie actors and little cameos/references to their old movies all over the place.
As a regular movie: 4/10. Shitty cgi for the blood; horrible, horrible acting; a really shitty script. The plot was one of the weakest I have ever seen ever.

The Expendables 2- 9.0/10...really awesome action movie, with some really cheesy yet funny one liners. Worth the see if you want a testosterone filled action ride.

I really liked it. It wasn't the kind of story I was expecting it to be, but it was really good. I teared up near the ending, which I guess one learns to expect from most Pixar animations films. It had a good moral to it and it also has its fair share of charmingly comedic scenes.
I also really liked the short animation film at the beginning.."La Luna" I think it was called? That was superb.

Another one of those "What is reality?" movies. Maybe even one of the first ones.
What if your "friends" aren't your friends but actors and everything you do is according to a script. Closely watched by millions of people.
Now you can break that up to two parts.
First part "...everything you do is according to a script.". This means that there is no such thing as luck and the whole concept of "We accidentally bumped into each other". Everything that happens around you is planned, step by step.
And "Closely watched....". Every action you take is watched by someone else to see if you break any rules. Meaning that you don't have any privacy.

The movie is similar to The Matrix, Bioshock* and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Library.

I underestimated this movie, but ended up overestimating it in the process.
I was hoping there would be more memorable characters, and deaths too.
But hey, it's for kids. Can't complain.

I pretty much agree with you on that one, but I will be nice and give the story line a 5/10. Not the worst story line I've seen, but they could have done better. Best part of the movie is when Chuck Norris made his appearance. LMFAO!!!

I was hooked on this. The whole deal with morals is fantastic.
Very sad ending though, all they did ended up being meaningless.

I wasn't expecting very much from this movie to be honest, Maybe a few cheap laughs (Which I did get anyway) but I was thoroughly entertained throughout the movie.
I liked the whole cast especially Edward Furlongs performance. :)
Its amazing to look back at what some people thought about Kiss back in the late 70's and how people thought that Kiss were "Knights In Satans Service" :D
I mean Kiss were apparently REALLY badass, Rocking and subversive back in the day... Fucking Kiss... Basically glam rock was badass! = LOL!!! xD
Now look at whats considered to be controversial, subversive for our kids and downright EVIL these days.......... Justin FUCKING Bieber! In a few years the Biebmeister will look small time, I know... Amazing right!? (Think about it, Blows your mind doesn't it?)

Better than the first. Gives us exactly what we came to see. Old school action. With the exception of Liam Hemsworth, we are brought back into the world of men. Not the namby-pamby, prissy, pop-star prettyboy underwear models with faces so soft that they make Jessica Simpson look like a grizzled war veteran.
Arnold abused the "I'll be back" line a little too much, and the "Yippee-Ki-Yay" was incredibly stilted, but most of the jokes were pretty funny in that camp sorta way.
Jason Statham getting all Assassin's Creed-like was pretty sweet, too.
Minor disappointments in Li getting written off nearly right away and Rourke not being able to reprise his role- but the additions of Schwarzenegger, Willis, Van Damme, and Norris more than made up for it.
In Brief: No plot. No story. All action. About 60% of all my childhood heroes on screen at the same time.
After shitheads like Shia Lebeef, Robert Parkinsons, and I don't even know the fucking names of these pansies- have walked in and proliferated within cinema, the world needed a serious reminder of what a man actually looks like.
Now if only they can get Expendables 3 done before other stalwarts like Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman kick the bucket...

The Dark Knight Rises - 8.5/10
Saw this yesterday at the cinema because my friend invited me - he was able to get a ticket free when buying another somehow and we went halves on the one he paid for. I haven't even seen the other 2 so it didn't have the impact it could have had on me but I still really enjoyed this film. I should probably watch the first 2 films then rewatch this.
