Maybe it was high expectations but it didn't work for me. As an action movie it lacks a lot in action scenes. As a drama the plot was predictable and not at all interesting. And finally I'm not a sci-fi guy but the sci-fi aspect was extremely weak. The acting was terrible, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was fine and Bruce Willis was Bruce Willis, but everyone else just tanked their scenes. I like Jeff Daniels a lot but even his scenes made me cringe. Maybe it was more because the dialogue was poor but still, I expected more.
I always say this but honestly this is the last time I trust my friends opinions when it comes to movies...

Resident Evil: Retribution

This is probably the closest the films have come to having a proper connection to the video game series, as it feels more like a video game.
Alice has been captured once again by umbrella, and this time taken to the underground testing facility, in which she has to escape along with Leon S Kennedy (Johann Urb), Barry (Kevin Durand), and Luther West (Boris Kodjoe). Things are made harder by her old companions being cloned and used against her.

The special effects are used to great effect and are even better in 3D, and the story is generally easy to follow and is mildly interesting. Overall it makes for a good hour and a half of entertainment, nothing amazing to remember, but good while it lasts.

Prometheus.
I give it an 8/10.
Its a pretty good moive. Kinda like a background story on how the "Alien" came to be.
But the movie just left SOOO many unanswered questions.
Only part that upset me was she chose to possibly die instead on going home..

It's probably a biased rating because at first I was going to put 6.5 but I 1 up'd it. I really love the movies so I go into them liking it. The cheesy bits are hilarious to me, not that annoying and I enjoy the flow of it all. The warehouse bit is my favorite. Romero is an adequate replacement for Rocco. It's an added bonus that the men are attractive to me. Other then the annoying agent bits I enjoy it.

It's Kind of a Funny Story
