Risk a awkward moment with a friend?

Well I was thinking about telling a friend about Fakku and having him around on the forums and shit. So you ask wait you have friends? Then you ask a less funny question why not? Well it breaks down to I don’t know if he likes Hentai or not. If not well that will be a very awkward moment and would lead to much making fun of. If yes though it would be cool to talk about hentai and shit and have him around the forums expanding his hentai collection and what not. I just can’t decide either way, so I thought I would ask the community yes or no should I tell him about Fakku and risk awkward moments forever, or take the safe root and just let it go?

POTENTIALLY INCREASING THE POPULARITY OF FAKKU WHILE PUTTING YOUR FRIENDSHIP ON THE LINE WITHOUT ANY REAL AFFECT TO US?

Although it kind of depends on what kind of a person your friend is. The only person not into hentai or manga/anime/VN in general I've told about FAKKU before wouldn't even think about making fun of me about anything, and since then the population of 2D pervs on this planet went up by one. Maybe you shouldn't just run up to him and rub some FAKKU under his nose but try to get a glimpse of his general interest on that matter first.

You should know by now that there's buttloads more to Fakku than just fap material and just how complex it's community is.
In other words, if your friend is into either anime or manga in general (and few of those would be offended by hentai I imagine) he shouldn't find it difficult to appreciate this place for his very own reasons. Can't imagine him making fun of you afterwards.

Why don't you first ask him what does he think of hentai or if he even knows about it, if not then explain it to him. If he is interested in it then you can tell him about Fakku and how he feels about joining it and talking around the forums with you. And if he isn't interested then don't even bother it ain't good to force the stuff on him. Doing it this way could get rid of those possibly awkward moments that may arise in my opinion, hope this helps.

I would not go out of your way to find out if he likes hentai or not. If you just randomly ask the question, then it would be undoubtedly awkward. If it fits with the situation, I can see it going much better than the alternative.

I'd risk it, but then again I'm a very open person and am willing to tell my friends anything and everything about me; whether I find it obvious, controversial or taboo doesn't matter. Ironically 90% of time when I mention that I like hentai to my friends they either like it, never heard of it, but liked it afterwards, or were completely indifferent. Very few people come to resent me for mentioning it. XD

This is exactly what I hate, the fact that people stereotype anime with hentai. And it pisses me off. So honestly, I wouldn't risk it unless the person was a closet otaku like myself.

What also pisses me off alot is that I draw (i'm not good, but stuff takes time), and the main reason I don't like to show my work to people I don't know is because alot of em look at the manga-like characters and go like "OH! You're drawing hentai!".... it so really pisses me off.

One of my friends and I somehow got to this topic, and I ended up finding out that he was into bondage and liked to draw pictures of girls tied up. So yeah, interesting things can happen.

Find out his opinion on the matter first, maybe just ask him, if he's into anime: "Don't you think it could be hot to see X doing X? xD"

That should sort it out pretty quickly.
