This is exactly what I hate, the fact that people stereotype anime with hentai. And it pisses me off. So honestly, I wouldn't risk it unless the person was a cloest otaku like myself.

Seriously a lot of people have posted and I don’t think there was any no’s. He likes anime though he’s to busy to watch it most of the time. He has said some things about anime characters being hot and having sweet boobs.

If you don't want to risk an awkward moment, you could always try putting out some bait and seeing how he responds. The best bait are pretty much anything every Hentai fan knows about like say Bible Black.
Or if you aren't the type to play mind games, just risk it and if you get made fun of, just shrug it off.

I don't think my best friend would be into it he's not very kinky when it comes to things related to sex. Very average you know just missionary and crap like that. But his girlfriend, who I'm good friends with, we've talked about stuff like that she's more kinky than he is, but maybe that's a good thing.
But i digress I'd say you should know the type of person he is so give it a try just be discreet about it at first. Say something like "Are you a kinky kinda of person?" if he doesn't answer quickly say something like so and so asked me and I wasn't sure how to answer it. Which could easily open up a discussion that will lead to the answer you seek. Also once you opened up with something say things like I'm into blah blah and ask if he is. Then say are you into hentai, if he says yes show him the site, if he says no lie and say neither am I.
