That was a "wheel bug". Creepy looking fuckers to be sure, but harmless. People like this really disgust me. I mean, I guess if you've grown up in an urban area where you don't have much contact with insects, you might not be completely comfortable around them, but this sort of irrational paranoia is just ludicrous. Especially to the level he took it.
