^Well since you said that you're pretty confident with your hand brushing skills everything will be fine. Otherwise be sure to thin the paint well and nicely, and be sure not to be hasty so as not to make sloppy strokes.

like tamiya paint but more suitable to gunplas.

I've tried looking for tutorials for that, but all I get are links to sites selling a resin kit of it for over $800 USD or other forums with people talking about it.

with $800, you can buy 3 PG kits, over 10 MGs, or dozens of HGs.

@ Satsugai : Buying a resin conversion kit is no joke, really. It's not that I'm underestimating you or anything but you should consider your options before buying one.

Well since you said so yourself that you are still an amateur, conversion kits are not for the weak of hearts and requires 100% painting which includes the sanding, priming,masking and even gluing and fixing of gaping seams. And worse comes to worst mending of warped parts.

I'm not stopping you from making a purchase or anything, but you can keep the kit until you know within yourself that you can handle it or ask someone else to do it for you.

And you can visit fichtenfoo.com if you really are interested in resin conversion kits, that site is very informative and can help everyone in here in their genesis of becoming fulfilled gunplamodelers.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, I'm just sharing what I know.

@Glory, I am in no way offended by it, I fully understand how much work, time, and patience is needed for big projects like that. Building gunpla has been a hobby of mine for over 12 years now, it was only recently I've tried my hand at painting, so I'm still a novice at most. But I'm usually a picky person with what model I buy.

^Heh, nice I'm at it for almost 12 yrs too ^_^. I've just started to take it on fully at least 4 years ago (though I can't exactly build and paint all of the time because of school). I've been building gunpla since I was 8 years old XD.

hmm....i've been building gunplas since i was 13 years old.
that means i've been at it for 10 years now.lol.

And I'm still at gunpla building for 6 months. Still a long way to go. lol

I think I've been building gunplas for almost 10 years too... but I buy gunplas rarely so my collection isn't really that big. :|

I figure I'd post one of my older works here, I'm kinda burned out studying all day.
Here's my MG God Gundam which I built sometime last year. Everything is painted with spray cans, and flat top coated. I hope you guys like it.
This is one of the Gundams that I have that I didn't put decals on, simply because I think warning decals don't suit it.

I've been also thinking if I should put warning decals on the Turn A...

Anyone here knows how to fix loose polycaps?
