One could even argue that it would assist in criminal activities towards real rape since the user in extreme cases would strive to satisfy their fetish. Of course, those same people would be the ones mentally unstable enough to go out on killing sprees after playing paint ball or some sort of video game involving murder. It's not really applicable to the general public who can tell TRUTH from FICTION.

If things were banned simply because they were gateways, then a hell of a lot of things wouldn't be legal. A major one being caffeine because apparently it's a gateway for drugs. But like you said, it's the unstable that take things too far, and the stable people shouldn't have to suffer for it.
