"This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn't have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don't want one. This is an emergency."
Aw shit son.
Although, the issue seems resolved, McDonalds agreed to send her a refund. A refund of like 3 dollars.
The manager should have just given her a refund, it's not against policy.
Still...way to fucking over-react.
This thread reminded me of their damned commercial that's always playing:
On another note, I personally would have been kinda pissed if they took my money for something when they were out of it and then tell me they're out of it. Though if I wanted my money back I'd stand there and bitch until I got it back, not call 911.
Let's just face it, if that happened to you, you'd want your money back. It would become more of the principal than the actual money. Yea, I'd be able to survive without a $3 meal, but no I wouldn't want some person who makes minimal wage tell me that I can't have my money back because all transactions are final, that's bs.
Overreacting over no McNuggets... they don't even taste that good. I don't like McDonalds personally but I just go there for the dollar burgers and that's it. Oh and shouldn't the employees tell her that they were out? Seems like an dick move to take the money but then tell her no nuggets at the window. She should have just complained to them directly instead of getting the cops involved. Too much hassle over nothing.
[size=10]Lmfao that is hilarious. I'm glad I opened this thread.. after seeing the title around five times. Lol.. wow, that's amusing. I saw her pic while lurking 4chan, along with a link but I wasn't gonna waste time when it was probably something stupid. (I rarely follow links on that site). Lol, turns out the article is real, wasn't so stupid and was worth reading. Lmao.. wow... that definitely was my laugh of the day.
Seriously speaking, putting the humor that I found aside, I guess she did deserve her money back. But lol, calling 911?[/h]
i saw the same thing on yahoo! when this guy called 911 about the service ina BK lounge (burger king). i saw it at school, me and my friend were joking around and i was like "what did they do to his whopper that made him feel the need to call 911?" and my friend was like "he probably found glue in it".
