FINALLY completed my modded Super Famicom controller, after weeks of trial and error! Now I can use it on my PCs and my PS3 (for fighting games and emulators, of course.)
There aren't enough words to express how glad my pops and I are to finally have this project done and over with. Hopefully, we won't have to do this again when I get a PS4 (eventually...)
i went riding with of my friends for about an hour. It was super fun, we just drove down all these back roads just outside of town listening to music and eating burgers from in and out. Than we went to a spot at a river a few miles from my house and drank beer and threw rocks at trees across the river. Super fun, but we almost ran out of gas on the way home cause her gas gauge on her car doesn't read right.
New laptop came so I spent some of today personalising it.
[*]It wouldn't connect to the Internet, but I found out it was my Router acting up. On the bright side I found out how to edit my Router's settings without a setup disk, because I pressed the Reset button not knowing it wipes all saved settings and returns it to Factory. I got into the settings and it no longer has an old, shit username of mine as the name. I changed the encryption type to one where the password is something I chose, instead of generating one from one I type in.
[*]Played R&C3.
[*]Played Spiral Knights and RuneScape on the new laptop. The lack of FPS lag is beautiful.
[*]Played Minecraft for a bit.
[*]And just now sorted shit I saved to my old laptop's desktop into a single folder and backed it up on my External Harddrive.
Finish my Japanese 101 homework, due on thursday on this upcoming week - I still have math 20 homework, though. I'll probably slack off for a bit and then get back to it, since it's super easy shit I'm taking to raise my GPA (literally, the most complex concept it is absolute value, which I learned in 3rd grade, so it's a snoozefest just doing homework)
Even though it's easy, doing 20+ pages of homework in one day is boring, and a chore.
Two Iron Golems spawn in my Village now, which to me are just free Iron Ingots. But now I also get Zombie Sieges. The fuckers spawn anywhere they like regardless of how lit the place is. The first time it happened I had 12 of them coming at me at once. The Villagers I put behind counters in the "shops" I made were also killed off because a Zombie spawned next to them, but the ones which were fenced into a single spot weren't. Instead they had Zombies standing outside the counter trying and failing to kill them.
Lost my Librarian and Butcher which were behind counters, and the freeroaming Blacksmith with the Diamond Leggings trade, plus a few more with generic trades. Pissed me off.
Today, literally and figuratively the most fulfilling thing I did was eat a sweet potato dinner roll. I don't really like sweet potatoes but the rolls were quite tasty. I don't usually accomplish much of note most days.
