Talked to my managers and fellow employees about some ideas I had to make this ice cream parlor possibly attract more people during the not-summer months. They liked most of them.
We didn't have any special treats for Halloween. So I got the idea of orange sherbet pumpkins and grape jello bats using cookie cutters Or white vanilla ghosts with chocolate chips for eyes and mouth or strawberry eyeballs with sprinkles for the iris and a Hershey's Kiss pupil. They have since been added as of today... Well, not the bats, but the ice cream ones.
Add mini cupcakes to the menu. They like this idea.
Maybe buy one of those electronic radio jukeboxes or something and put it in that empty corner. They don't like this one because many people just order to go
Upgrading our soda machine to support more than just 6 soft drinks. Maybe get one if those new coke machines that let you choose your drink. This one I was backed up on by my employees and apparently I wasn't the first person to bring this up either... I was just the first employee to directly talk to the manager about it.
Also relating to soda and that unused area, turn it into a sort of "Cola Bar", or at least put a shelflike table there with some bar stools.
And for some reason Cherry came in as I was talking to one of the managers during my break (guess she wanted to see me at work) and when she overheard the idea of upgrading the soda machine, she helped me prove my point by asking for dr pepper. We don't have dr pepper. When she didn't get any she acted a bit disappointed and instead ordered Cherry coke.
How do I know she was helping me? She doesn't even like Dr pepper that much and the managers know I'm lesbian but have never really met Cherry.
