Well I'd probably read it but I have no idea what my response would be as I don't know any other conditions.

I've stayed friends with some of my ex's so the text aren't anything special. Plus I rarely even read texts sent to me so if they have something to say to me they call me up. I've made it a rule not to get back into a relationship with my ex's so nothing they say would change anything anyways.

sounds like a bit of remorse but don't take it as much more than that... it's most likely that she cheated before they broke up or at least she wanted to. It was also most likely either made drunk or crying.
