Uhh let's see here... I will tell my friend that I've been in love with her for a while now. If he is really my friend then he would give up because I knew her longer and better. 'Cause if I have known her ever since elementary school, and basically watched over her, then how can I cope with my best friend dating her?

She deserves to be happy too and you never were able to do it before so I think it is fair someone else gets a chance :)
