Doujinshi, that's probably the main thing right now. Bleach, Tactics, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Togainu no Chi, Nuero & Howl doujinshi are one's I am actively looking for now. I have close to probably 500 now...
I use to collect shitajiki but not as much now. I do still look for Togainu no Chi and Lamento (games) things. Cute stationary.

I'm into toy design, so all kinds of vinyl toys and figures.
Only a few non anime/manga related itmes, like old or new music records and vinyls and movie tickets too.

Okay, let's see how things changed over time.
First, it was shells and stamps (I would still do it now if I received more letters or went to the beach more often).
Then came Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards (I wasn't that interested in the game, just something to collect).
Nowadays, it's just normal manga that I actually buy and hentai doujinshi that I download (especially Sailor Moon).

Although It's what pretty much all other men do, I collect porn. But I don't keep all the shit I have. I have three folders: Best doujins folder, ongoing series, and new shit. Let's say I DL some new shit from afroman. I later take a look at it and if I think it's worth keeping I put it into my collection of the best doujins I've ever seen. I do the same shit to vids too.

I just remembered, i used to collect those NHL cards when i was a little bastard.
I remember getting one of those card-packages on my birthday and i contained only über-rare cards in gold/silver, goddamn, everyone at the party was like :shock: Da fuck?!

I used to collect cards of various types, crazy bones, and pogs, as a kid. I collect manga off and on and I've filled a few rows on my bookshelf with them. I also collect anime (primarily boxsets) and have mostly mainstay anime like Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion but the Twelve Kingdoms I have is my favourite.
The only thing I've collected since I was a kid, still collect, and likely will continue to collect for the forseeable future is video games. I did a purge relatively recently (probably the last I'll ever do since I now have eBay account and am not beholden to Gamestop trade rates) so my count went down but I have about 100 video games across the DS (definitely the most at like 30+), SNES (second place at about 25 I think), PS2 (maybe 20), Wii (11 without downloadables), and GBA (about 10). I think I have some GB/GBC games as well.
I passively collect DVDs as well but I've downloaded more than I've bought. Anything I give a 7 or 8 I'll look for cheap, a 9 is I might buy at full price, a 10 I have to own nearly regardless of price.

When I was a little kid I collected Pokemon cards. But I got tired of it fairly quickly and sold them all for considerably less than they were worth because I just wanted to get rid of them and didn't know any better and was like 11.
But I've always collected comics. I don't have the money for it so much these days, and I wasn't really careful with them when I was younger, so I have a lot that are of very poor quality now, but I have boxes of them.

When I was a kid, I collected the normal things - baseball cards, basketball cards, Pokemon cards, Magic: The Gathering cards, DBZ cards (they were Spanish, lol).
Now, I pretty much only collect manga. But I don't buy it very often, so my collection doesn't increase. Still, it's the only physical thing that I collect, and I love staring at my many books on my shelf.

I once collected those too, got 3 gold cards and some awrd winner edtion cards. The best part is I still have them. :lol:
now I only collect, Yu-Gi-Oh Cards, GunPla, and H-games. :D
