As the subject asks! Anywho I should answer it too... I think in my next interview(I don't care if I get the job or not) I'm going to wear a pink button up shirt, black tie and black slacks. Gotta love the pink?

i wear a vertical line office shirt with a grey coat with a grey pants and a grey tie to match... of course the usual day accesories are off

You can't go wrong with pink.... as long as you a girl. I'm sorry, but guys who wear pink who think they are "metro-sexual" are just letting a few bones from that skeleton in their closet. It looks stupid. Be a man and wear black. I never looked at a guy in a pink polo and said... "I have to sleep with that man, NOW!"

So on a semi-related note, my interview today went HORRIBLE. Not so much on my end of things. My uhh former-potential-employer, 1. Hates anyone who isn't white.(I'm not white so things didn't go smooth) 2. Hates anyone who DOESN'T use a rotary engine in their car/boat/plane/lawnmower. 3. Carries 3 guns on him at all times. Anyway made me kind of glad that I didn't make time to get my haircut before the interview. And no I didn't wear my pink shirt. I should have though!

Eshi thinks mostly depends on the GUY et/or GIRL upon the color of pink as a shirt, for that matter. Pends on how they look in it. Non color ish a GENDER-BASED color. Don't fucking care what anyone says. You can't base ANYTHING on mix notion of being a GENDER et/or ORIENTATION. Blegh! Don't want to get into a debate about this matter, buh think as stated previous that pends on the person! ( ^ w^);
Et, personally.. Eshi just dressed up a little for interview. Aswell, does indeed depend on the job looking at. Sometimes come in with what usually wear day-in-out... try nuh wear sew much jewelry -or makeup.. Ect.

I like to wear jeans and my cross of St. George golf shirt. Basically it combines casualness and nationalism into one neat little package. I just have to hope I don't get interviewed by a bitter Quebecois or something.
I figure when I apply for a real job I'll have to wear a suit though since I want to be a lawyer and even applying for an internship I'd want to make a good impression.

If you really can't stand it I suggest somehow slipping him a letter than at first glance appears to be a love letter but actually contains a message saying something like "Please feel free to be more inventive with your clothing." and $10. It would probably be best not to sign it. If nothing else this should shame the guy into action or at least be hilarious.

Like what others have said, it all depends on the job you are applying for. In my opinion, I believe shorts fall into the informal category, which may turn your potential employers off.
Alternatively, going naked could leave a deep impression, though you could end up not getting the position and landing up in custody. :D
