Man, I miss old school durability. You could brain a bear with the consoles and hurl the controllers into hard surfaces all day. Both Playstation and N64 joysticks broke easily, and the former's discs were fucked after the first scratch. Mo' tech, mo' problems.
So true. It's like every new game console has more problems than the previous versions. Makes me cringe thinking of the new consoles that are supposably coming out next year. I'll stick with my PS2 and PS3 if I say so myself.
My faithful SNES lasted until the summer of 2004 when it literally "burnt out" and took a good chunk of my rooms carpet. I still remember playing the Mario collection cartridge that had every single Mario game on it.
