when did I say I tore you apart? reading comprehension for the lose. What is the difference in making a post berating a user about something and a thread criticizing people's content in general? I don't call anyone out in my thread unless they refute my point, but you specifically feel the need to call attention to my way of posting, explain to be how your way is better/more polite?

There are quite a few good threads being created these days, but it takes time to find them, I applaud users who put thought and effort into their threads. It should be said that we have motemote2 to blame for the recent influx of bad posts but we should never accept such stupidity with open arms.

It really seem like you're grasping at straws zig, the idea that people love my "epenis" is out of left field. I was one of the most vocal and first to openly criticize thread content but I am in no way the reason people are able to recognize bad threads now, you give me too much credit.

Imagine if we applied that theory to real life? "Well that country seems sort of dangerous and unstable but let's not look into it or talk to them about it...Let's just ignore it and hope that they don't go psycho and bomb us."

Same thing with forums, you have to talk to the topic starter and make sure he/she doesn't make another thread like that again. Instead of leaving it alone and making the person think it's okay and makes more annoying threads.

TBH, it just seems like your picking a fight with that Waar person. He basically stated what mostly everyone was thinking. This thread starter does make useless threads, and should be told to stop. Why you're yelling at him [waar] for that I have no idea. If it's the way he says it then it's a pointless argument. You can't expect people to simply accept a user who spams threads, can't use proper grammar and is possibly underage.

Look. It was -not- my intention to say 'you can't tell somebody that they're wrong because it's mean' you all take what you want from my argument and turn it around.

My argument was, there's absolutely no reason for pages beyond pages of people flat out insulting one another. There's no lesson in a lol cat saying gtfo my internet, or some ugly guy flipping a table saying 'wtf is this shit' - I'm stating in general with other threads that have had this same behavior.

If you truly find something wrong with a thread or a thread starter, tell them without flaming them. If you just simply flame a person, they just think you're being a troll. Then they either do a) more of what you just insulted them about to show that you can't boss them around or b) Feel unwelcomed to the site and don't come here again.

There's a huge difference between telling someone they're doing something wrong and flaming them. Huge difference.

I'm pretty sure people have told this guy about making pointless threads, but he doesn't seem to listen. Which is why people now are reacting this way towards his posts.

When a child misbehaves and doesn't listen to the parent - the parent gets strict. On the internet, it's basically the same way.

Waar also made a good point of, being naive on the internet. People don't listen to polite suggestions, they need it to be thrown in their faces. If you wanted people not to misunderstand your meaning you should have avoided getting into an argument with the Waar person. To me, it seems that he easily agitates you and this thread was just a way to point out his flaws or get back at him. I mean, you basically just pointed out his flaws more than the entire community's flaws. You used him as the entire base of your 'argument'.
