Law of Conservation of Mass: Atoms can not be destroyed or created in natural processes. Which means neither will disappear.
Not true. It's "Conservation of Mass
and Energy. As we've seen.... through several demonstration throughout the 20th century... The atomic bomb, the hydrogen bomb, and numerous other instance. Matter can be converted into energy, meaning a loss of mass.
However, it doesn't matter. Atoms can be destroyed to make energy, or split to make other atoms, or fuse to make heavier elements. Atoms change forms a lot.... Requires tons of energy though. XD
Stars combine oxygen with other elements to get the heavier stuff such as iron. Oxygen itself is fairly stable, so I can't really see it splitting to say.... Hydrogen....
Lol. I dunno. XD
