I have to say I haven't been to a concert since 2006/2007 and it was Coheed and Cambria performing in Boston. I hope to see them again this November but I need cash and I already want to go to a Dir en Grey Concert in November. I've probably been to only a few concerts, about 4 or so? Not sure..

Mmm, best? Probably my first, which was System of a Down in '05. Never experienced a real concert before that, and SOAD's my favorite band, so it was really sweet. Ozzfest was probably a close second, being that they had a lot of other sweet bands in addition to SOAD. Also a Muse concert, which might have almost topped the list, if it weren't for the fact that they were only opening up for MCR who suck ass. The injustice of it still kills me.

Ahh dude you're so lucky, who doesn't love SOAD? haha.

I've never been too a concert before, but I sorta want to go to the next gigantour and maybe keep a look out to see if Galneryus, Sex Machinguns, or X japan do another IS tour...

Galneryus is good. Didn't they do the ending theme to Mnemosyne Musume no Tachi?

They did both the OP and ED to that show. It differs from the rest of the stuff they do though. I thought it was a step backwards, but I do enjoy the songs....

They have a new album coming out next month, I think.

The only concert I went to was probably 6 or 7 years ago. It was Aerosmith's Just Push Play tour in St. Louis. They played for probably a good 3-4 hours and even walked to the second outdoor stage mid-song. Best moment I remember is when Stephen Tyler yelled out "Show me some skin!!!" and me and my cousin witnessed about 300 boobies =D Apparently the chili peppers were playing about an hours drive away about a year ago but nobody told me =(

I'd go to a X Japan concert any day :)

I envy you for seeing Explosions In The Sky live.

The best concerts I saw, were probably Envy in Muenster(GER), Shai Hulud in Cologne(GER) or The Fall Of Troy in Frankfurt(GER).
All three were small concerts with about 200(envy) to 400(tfot, shai hulud) fans. At all three concerts I at least spoke to one of the members of these bands or shook hands with all of them(shai hulud).

I found it a little bit funny, when I bought one envy-CD after their concert: I asked in Japanese for the CD(I talk just a liiiittle bit). And the guy took the CD out of a box and not till then he made a confused face, looked at me as he just realized that he was in Germany and not in Japan. And than thanked me a lot in Japanese with a big smile. :)

Edit: I have gone to about 10-20 concerts/festivals in my life.
If I also count the concerts of some local bands it's about twice as much, I guess.
And I played with our band at about 15 concerts.

Only been to one concert b4. it was the korean singer/actor Rain. my girlfriend was crazy about him so basically yea we went together. it was pretty good.

Dragon Force is the only concert I've been to and it was pretty sweet. They had a band play before them called Power Glove and they had something called sexy time... >.> It was hella sexy... They also did two encores and Herman Lee is just hella fast.

Machine Head at a small venue, things were insane.
KoRn and Metallica ties for second.

Special mention: PLAY! - a Video Game Symphony.
So many beautiful tunes, and the closing "One Winged Angel" was fuckin epic with a big choir.

Machine head is awesome in concert!!!! :DDDD And Im going to Metallica soon.

The best gig i went to was a Bo Peep gig, A all girl punk band from osaka. They were nuts, throwing chairs and downing pints of beer. Great stuff
